Had our appointment time set way in advance. Arrived early…they missed our scheduled time and finally took us back 20+ minutes late. Our tax person never even introduced herself and then told us we needed documents we didn’t really need. Left after 10 minutes and my wife did the taxes online. Avoid the frustration and abysmal customer service.

Kurt @ meridian mall lost my taxes and never started them. Called Debbie @ logan sq and she broke the news of Kurt not even starting my return. Then told me 2 weeks and she would have them done. The holidays pass and i realize its been 3 months. I call her again, she says she needed 1 piece of info. I tell her she can get that from the property tax records. She does then tells me to come in and sign and pay. I stop in and they wanted to charge me full price after they lost my taxes for 6 months. I left with my paperwork. I will pay someone else. I would recommend using a much more professional firm. Learned my lesson

I decided to try H&R Block after doing my taxes myself for 5 years. I moved to a different state and I was anxious to do them on my own. Kurt had everything done for me and my wife all in one day, and I didn’t even have to go in person! I am going to H&R Block for now on!

They really don't care.Went here to speak to somebody about needing to file some back taxes on a time crunch. Was told the person I would need to speak with was busy at the moment and to come back in a half an hour to 45 minutes. Did that and was told that they left early for the day in the time I was waiting. They were given my phone number and was told they would call back shortly. I was in a store at the time he called. my roommate spoke to the gentleman calling and he said he would call back in the morning. He did not I called later in the day and was told that he was with somebody but then had the rest of his day free and they would have him call me. He did not. I called again and spoke to him and he told me to come down to the office to speak to somebody. I told him I had done that the day prior and despite them being open until 8 and me being told what time to come back he left anyway. When I finally had him on the phone I was telling him up about my situation and he told me that he would not be able to help me anyway.I am in a very time-sensitive emergency situation right now and this was a huge waste of critical time. I went to HR block because I thought they would be a good choice to handle this quickly.There was no effort made to meet with me.

Lynda Arnold is 5 stars, every time. She is the sole reason we go to HRB.But this year, the system failed us, what is below is no fault of Lynda’s:FULFILLMENT ISSUE:>> We scheduled and dropped off documents in preparation for an in-person appointment with Lynda, clear every step of the way that Lynda was the only person authorized to complete our taxes.>> Our taxes were picked up by someone else (in a different office!) and we were sent a prompt to complete online DESPITE designating in-person with Lynda and never speaking to this other person.>> This violation of our privacy/private data was HUGE to us and very upsetting.>> Selections were made on our behalf by the unauthorized professional that would have cost us money AND delayed our refund!THANKFUL to Lynda for getting everything fixed and back on track for us with a smile on her face/positivity. It was not an easy task because the system was having issues from how the other unauthorized pro filled things out.Lynda is an incredible, caring person who knows her stuff and cares about her clients. I hope everyone at HRB knows how valuable an asset she is.Big takeaway: No one should pay for tax prep and not get the service they pay for. We don’t come to HRB to have a stranger riffle through our private data, make mistakes and make selections that could cost us $. The value for us IS our designated pro, Lynda.IF SOMEONE FROM HRB WOULD LIKE TO DISCUSS, you can use my name to look up my number and give me a call. I’m happy to talk through how changes in practices created a 1-star experience /review despite having a 5-star professional.

I had set an appointment for a phone consultation/filing at 3:00 pm with one of the tax professionals at this location named Karen. At 3:30 pm when I had not yet received a phone call I called the office and spoke to the secretary Josh, who informed me that Karen was "too busy with other things" but that she would be calling for our appointment soon. While I found that answer to be a little bit unprofessional and irritating I definitely understand that anyone's schedule can get congested or delayed. So I said thank you for the update and continued to wait. It is now after 5:00 pm and I am cancelling my appointment. While I'm pleased to hear that this location is doing so incredibly well that they have "other things" to prevent them from keeping appointments - it struck me as extremely unprofessional. Do not set an appointment if you are "too busy" to keep it.

Zero ratings. Told me they could complete time sensitive tax forms. I show up for my appointment to learn that they can't. Claimed they tried calling twice but never did. Don't waste your time like I did.

If I could give them a one star I would, I had a full appointment set up for march 10th the staff influenced me to drop of my taxes because my tax prep was on the phone for a meeting giving me the full expression it would be done in a few days. Call after call no one calls me finally call Corp H and R they get someone back on my taxes they say they will call me the following Monday and I can come in and sign, that was over two weeks ago. Didn’t happen so I go into the office the desk clerk and Wilma Bailey say they will get them done and call me the following Monday she’s coming in on her day off, here we are over a month I’ve talked to the manager I’m supposed to go in and sign today and guess what are not done? My taxes… it’s excuses after excuse no I’m not going to sit in the office with you after you were the lady on march 10th that told me they would be done in a few days knowing it was two years of taxes. Worst experience in my life, currently sitting on hold with corporate again because guess who still doesn’t have any taxes filed? Tax pro’s? Okay…

Lynda Arnold, my tax professional is wonderful to work with. She is a nice person, remembers me and asks me how my year went every time we see each other. She works really hard to make sure I'm getting my maximum refund. I appreciate both her personality and her professionalism.

The person who did my taxes screwed up used my dead husband social security instead of mine delayed my refund, not knowledgeable repeatedly got up to ask another employee.
