BUYER BEWARE! No direct phone line to your local branch so if you get locked out doing online banking your're screwed! The Lake Trust 888 generic number will put you on hold for hours and its ONLY number for ALL branch offices. You have to go in person to get any assistance with online lockouts. The branch staff are great but the general organization is NOT user friendly!

I do not like the fact that you took away card customization. I would like to continue having that personalized feature in my card and would appreciate it if you bring it back.Thanks.

Husband and I received new debit cards in mail. Activated them over the phone. Went to use mine the first time and there was a chip malfunction. I thought it could be the place I was at. Couple more places in the next few days same problem. My husband calls me from the road one day, he is going to have to use credit card for the day because his chip doesn't work. Call in on generic 800 number. Woman I get is the worst!! She tells me 1st that it's not the chip it's the location. Once I say again how it's both cards at several locations she tells me to activate the cards at ATM. I tell her AGAIN they are Activated. Even with my husband standing there with me she refuses to send new card. I have to go into branch. However branch is closed I need to call them for an appointment and we both have to be able to go there. How do you call the branch?? There are no branch numbers available anywhere!!! She says I should know the extention but she will transfer me. My branch tells me they don't know when they can get me in they are very busy. I make appointment for Saturday morning the next day. We go in for 10am appointment get there at 9:40. No customers in building, so they let us in and no one shows up the whole time we are there. New cards are printed and handed to us. However since its Saturday and not technically a business day they are not Activated. And can not be activated over the phone. We can come back anytime after 6pm that same day and activate in ATM by doing a balance check!!! How inconvenient that the bank itself can not hand to a fully ready card it's the most stupid thing I have ever heard of. All after being treated like a moron and a huge inconvenience!!

I know people are leaving less than 5 * reviews, but Lake Trust has always been there for me whenever I need them. I've had to get new debit and credit cards twice since last year; the latest was yesterday just before closing.When I realized my account had been hacked I called the branch office right away and within the hour they made an in person appointment for me. They met me at the door, gave me a new card and had already cancelled my old card.It is easy to write a negative review when we're not happy, but Lake Trust needs to hear the positive remarks when we're pleased!Thank you!!

Open your lobby. Make the teller machines faster or go back to using the employees in your bank for drive-through. No one has 40 minutes to sit in the drive theough line. Seriously thinking of switching banks...

Absolutely the WORST credit union to ever be apart of. Their management is HORRIBLE and these new teller machines are the worst ever...Literally just waited 53 minutes in line (3 people ahead of me) only to pull up there and the scanner not work for my license. Teller says she has to restart the session and scan again. Well she restarted it and went and helped the drive thru lane next to me. Wasn't waiting 20 minutes for them to finish.UpdateStill have a horrible wait in line for teller machines...what a waste of time and money....

Great institution, I have been a member through several name changes. Staff are always kind and helpful. Since in-person services have (understandably) been paused, the call wait is ~20 minutes. Under normal circumstances, calls are answered quickly.

No direct phone line to your local branch so good luck if you have problems accessing your online account or get locked out. I've spent hours on "hold" using their generic number and this isn't the first time - ONLY one phone number for all locations which means you have to go in person to get any assistance with online lockouts. You can't "chat" online because you can't login!

My card was taken and I had to go get a new one I go there and wait in line everyone’s great helps me out I get the card and go to activate it in the ATM and it won’t allow it so the next day I had to go back in and explain again somebody else and then they say that the problems fixed I try activating it in the ATM again but my pin no longer works and I was never told that it was changed so it’s been three days and I’ve had no access to my money it’s kind of annoying

Everytime i have a problem at another lake trust i always know i can call and get a straight answer no confusion just up front honesty thats why i will always keep coming back u guys and gals rock
