I just want to take a moment and acknowledge how great this post office is. I was recently hit by a new scam online where the seller of an item ships it to the same city and zip code, but because it doesn't show the exact address it ends up showing as delivered Even though you never received it and it was never the item you purchased. Unfortunately apps like Mercari do not trust you and I had 72 hours to prove I didn't receive this or else the seller was going to get the money (400$) I want to say within 12 hours of talking to USPS, the okemos post office saw the case that was opened and dealt with it very quickly giving me the information I needed. Words cannot express how grateful I am for you guys doing that. The whole thing had me very very upset. So thank you!

Absolutely no level of customer service at this location. I've been sending the same 4x6 letter with a keychain for the last 4 years without a problem and today one of the guys insisted I have to send it as a package. Every time I go there, you can tell nobody enjoys working there and the customers have a bad experience. This is one business that could be automated. I'll just go to the Haslett location where the service is actually really good.

TLDR:-If you get the thin, tall-ish guy in maybe his 50s or 60s, pretend you’re getting an important message on your phone, smile at the person behind you in line and say “you can go ahead.”-eBay return packages need to have at least a 4x6 inch area to affix a label to (as of this writing, USPS does not specify this in their instructions).The complete saga:I took an eBay return there. I had selected USPS’ no-package, QR-code-only option. (Side note: I’ve used this option several times with Amazon/UPS without an issue.) When I got to this USPS, the employee told me the item’s box was not big enough for a label. I had brought the shipping package it came in, just in case I needed it, so I pulled that out. He told me that package needed to be closed, and they didn’t have any free tape. I explained that I had selected the USPS no-package option on eBay, to which he responded “the post office isn’t eBay.” I’m sorry, where do you think these shipping instructions come from? Do you think eBay just makes them up, then blindly hopes that USPS will follow them? Do you think they generate random QR codes and cross their fingers that when USPS scans them, it will mean something in their system? The instructions I followed were from USPS. And you can’t even spare me three inches of tape to cover your employer’s miscommunication. So I drove to Meijer like an idiot and bought some packing tape.In closing, feel free to search “Al Pacino Heat don’t waste my time” in YouTube (the six-second clip).Epilogue:Thank you to the employee who helped me when I brought the package back, who made me feel like I was talking to another human. Much appreciated.

These idiots don't even ring the bell or knock, they just put up a notice telling them to come pick it up and it pops up haha I guess they didn't want to bring it because there were a lot of deliveries hahahaha The next delivery didn't even put a notice in front of the door hahahaha They just put it in the mailbox at the management office and threw it away. Rude employees, they have literally yelled at me for dropping off packages in the drop off bin. Then the next time I brought them to them to drop off in person and they were mad about that and told me to use the drop off bin. Rude people that just don't want to work.

The gentleman that works there has interacted with me on three occasions, and I commend his professionalism and patience. This is a great post office for handling your business; no muss, no fuss. Highly efficient and knowledgable staff.

They are very nice, helpful with all clients.They were helping us, and we had some issues with a package that went by mistake to another city, they cooperated directly with us and helped us.Free parking spaces are available, and parking spaces for people with disabilities are available.Thanks

I ordered a package from TJ Max and they sent the wrong item. The package was delivered successfully to my doorstep. I contacted TJ Max support and they said they would resend the correct item to the same address. The second package was not delivered due to “unsecure delivery location”. How can no secure delivery location be present when it’s the same exact location (doorstep to a nicely kept home). Now I have to go pick this thing up because they won’t re-deliver.

I wanted to overnight a kids tablet for a child on vacation. They wrapped it completely and then decided they cant overnight electronics. This was conveniently after i declined the over 100 dollar insurance.

I have had to call the office way too many times because a package was delivered to the wrong mailbox. They always have to send the mail person back out to retrieve it for me. Well, they’ve done it again and now I can not get anyone to answer the phone. So I guess my $80 package is just gone. I am so sick of this happening.

Worst office/carriers!!!! They pay absolutely NO attention to detail. Myself and my father, who have the same last name, live in the same apartment complex but in 2 different apartments on 2 entirely different streets. We constantly get each others mail. I had a baby in August and have become a frequent online shopper at Carters. The last 4 packages, including the one "delivered" today have never actually made it to my door. I have had to search my entire complex high and low each time for my package only to find it in a different place each time EXCEPT today. My package literally did not even make it to this complex and its supposedly delivered. OKEMOS USPS IS A JOKE!!!

The only time I actually go into this post office is when I am mailing something over seas for my fiancé in the military. And because the mail is going international I need to fill out a customs form with each package. which then means the postal workers have to do more work and hand type the address into the computer and print out some extra papers. EVERY TIME I have had the same negative experience when the employee complains I am making them do more work and they don't want to ship my package. its just disappointing that they make me leave feeling like I've wasted their time and inconvenienced them

My son, age 8, runs my packages in for me often and they know him by name and he’s always so excited to come out and tell me about his friends here!
