This place is a lifesaver. While driving from Traverse City to Detroit on a family roadtrip with a bunch of kids, our car ran hot. Thankfully we were only a half-mile from Hilltop Maintenance when this happened. They didn’t have the parts needed for our vehicle in-stock, so instead of waiting for them to be delivered next-day since we are not local, they found them in-stock at a nearby ford dealer, picked them up for us, and had us in and out in just a few hours and the car is now running smoothly.
Thank you so much to everyone at hilltop for turning a bad situation into a great experience! We are so grateful for your help and kindness, all the best!

Hilltop auto did work on my Toyota Tacoma. Fantastic job was very thorough even checked my oxygen sensors twice to make sure they had to be replaced would highly recommend them.

I took my truck to hilltop auto to get my truck fixed for steering problems darting left and right toward oncoming traffic and off the road on its own. First it was upper control arms and angles of steering geometry They then told me I had lower control arm bushings failing and loose pitman arm inner tie rods and more. They also told me the shocks were too short? And also I should finish a lift kit of 6 inches to correct steering angles and problems. They repaired it all and to Nothing fixed the truck half the parts I got returned and none are defective or even bad at all it is beyond drivable unsafe for my family of 6 to go on the highway. I inspected the work they did and found idler arm bracket is completely failing and when moved the right tire moves left and right. Would b cause dangerous driving conditions and they sent me home telling me it was all safe I paid multiple times for alignment and Inspection of front end over 2 years and they literally couldn't fix it what a joke. Can not Believe I trusted them with my life!!!Services: Steering & suspension repair

When out of town on vaca, Hilltop generously helped us out with a minor camper adjustment when we had forgotten our tools. We appreciate the kindness and the campsite recommendations!!
