Yes, this might be the best ice cream in the State of Michigan!A triple in a cup - Pictured Rocks (their best selling i/c), Caramel Cheesecake (a LOT of caramel), and Coffee Caramel Crunch (a LOT of caramel). Generous with scoops. Good prices. Nice staff. Glad we looked it up!#BestIceCreamInMichigan

Friendly faces and good ice cream, would definitely recommend for a quick and cheap treat.Kid-friendliness: They offer small sizes and booster seats, but there isn't really a junior size.Wheelchair accessibility: There's a ramp along the left side of the building.

Great place. We were in Midland in the dead of winter, and we wanted to treat the kids to ice cream. We found this place because of their dairy free options. We were all impressed with the shop and the service and definitely the ice cream. If back in MId-Michigan in the summer, we'll definitely be back.

The price and portion may be a little less than you are used to getting at an ice cream place. However, this place actually serves high quality homemade ice cream rather than selling you wholesale ice cream. You'd be hard pressed to find something as good elsewhere in the area and this is by far my favorite ice cream from the mid-michigan area! Sure, you are paying more for less but why go to an ice cream shop and get scooped wholesale ice cream (Cottage Creamery) when you could spend a little more for in-house homemade ice cream? Service is quick and the place has a nice vibe. Sometimes gets a little crowded but the wait is worth it.

Omg vegan chocolate peppermint ice cream??? Count me in! Love that they have seasonal dairy-free flavors, as well as a lot of other fun holiday ones. It also was cheaper than I expected, so yay. Support local ice cream shops!!

Was alright though the ice cream wasn’t the best and very expensive- the single was only one scoop compared to other places which give two.

If you love chocolate, get the pre-packed quart. Worth it. Love the walnut maple scoop too. Best in Midland.

Great place to get ice cream! The only problem I have with it is the small portions you get, where if you go to cottage creamery they give you a really big portion for just 1 scoop.

This ice cream shop is open all year and it's a cute spot to visit whether staying to eat there or in the car. They had over a dozen flavors, some named for places in the great state of Michigan. I had Salt Mine Detroit(?) which was caramel ice cream with generous amounts of salted pecan bits and toffee bits. My other scoop was Cider and donuts: apple cider ice cream with chunks of cider mill donuts inside. Both were really good and the waffle cone was perfect. My sister had chocolate peanut butter and a honey ice cream, which per the sign was made with 5 lbs of local honey. It was delicious! Indoor and outdoor seating under covered wrap around porch and picnic tables on the lawn. Inside has 3 booths made to look like row boats cut in half, plus additional bistro type tables and chairs. They had a cooler of hand packed pints for sale plus beverages/ water. The staff were very friendly and did not make us feel rushed at all, as there were only two people, that I saw. Even when a group including 4-5 kids arrived with certificates of some sort, the guy was really nice and making eye contact while talking to the little ones as they ordered (with adults helping). The noise level was loud with the kids but there's more hard surfaces bouncing sound around. The restroom was nice and large, handicapped accessible and had really nice hand soap. I ended up with too much, because I'm used to foamy dime size squirts so I hit it about 4x. It was thicker gel/ liquid and took 'forever' to rinse off, but it smelled good so I didn't mind at all! Part of the wrap around porch was converted to a ramp for people of all abilities and there's a good size parking lot surrounding the shop. We found out about this local hot spot on a FB page for Day trips in MI, and it was definitely worth the drive/ stopping before heading back to Dearborn. You will not be disappointed
