Meijer is a family-owned, one-stop shop in Midland, MI that has been offering great food, great brands, and great value to the community since 1934. Customers can find the freshest produce, custom-cut quality meats, seafood delivered 6 days a week, and freshly baked bread, all at low prices across 40+ departments. The store also offers premium pet brands, the latest fashions for the entire family, and opportunities to save even more with weekly specials and the mPerks loyalty program. While the shopping environment is generally better than nearby Walmart, some customers have expressed frustration with long wait times at the checkout, limited open lanes, and the requirement to use self-checkout. Additionally, some have noticed that prices have increased compared to other stores and online options, leading them to consider alternatives like Costco and Aldi. The staff at Meijer receive mixed reviews, with one customer praising a cashier named Breanna for her excellent social skills and pleasant demeanor, while another had a poor experience with a cashier named Madalyn who was described as rude and more concerned with her co-worker's hat than providing good customer service. The store's layout and organization, particularly in the health and beauty section, have also been criticized as confusing and congested. Overall, Meijer remains a popular choice for many in the community, offering a wide selection of products and the convenience of a one-stop shop. However, the store may need to address customer concerns regarding wait times, pricing, and staff training to maintain its reputation as a great value and shopping experience.
I wish they could open up a 12 or less lane./ 1-3 lanes open & a 15 min or more wait. Every time. I’m not going to do self check out, I don’t work there.

They seem to be out of stock frequently but they have a nice variety.

Not happy with the split grocery aisles. Wanted to use my points right away for gas and couldn't as they don't load immediately. Super busy store...Not sure the points are worth the hassle...
