I love this Meijer, and I love every experience I've had up until today. There was a young man with short dark hair working at the self check out next to an eldery man. I had grabbed a 20-pound bag of ice for my sons party today around 12pm. I realized i had forgot a slip for his cake and since the bag was so heavey and i was going to be only a minute I politley asked him if i could set the cart at the front with the ice for just a minute. He glared at me and rolled his eyes, and with a nasty and condescending tone, he said I guess so and walked away. I ignored the behavior and ran and got my slip and was no longer the a minute. I came back and even thanked him, and he once again rolled his eyes at me and scoffed, walking away. I am a very patient person and have worked in this industry, and I can say I am appoled by the blatent disrespect i was given when i only met him with kindness. I do want to give a shout out to Emily, who was super helpful and kind during my checkout. As for the young man, i hope he does better moving forward.

I wish they could open up a 12 or less lane./ 1-3 lanes open & a 15 min or more wait.
Every time.
I’m not going to do self check out, I don’t work there.

I would give it a 0 if I could. Worst customer service ever. No help. Been there a few times and each time dame thing. Try to get some things for my class and no help. Even a manager told me he would look for help and return. After waiting more than 10 minutes, never returned. He could have done it himself. This time get to checkout and item I was purchasing fell apart. Plenty of workers (5) standing around talking at the front and even more throughout the store and was told there was no one to bring a new one up. I would have to do it myself. WOW. I will be shopping elsewhere from now on, even if I have to go out of my way.

I usually do my weekly shopping here for two main reasons:
a. The shopping environment is much better than the nearby Walmart.
b. They have a loyalty program where I can earn rewards and discounts.
However, after the pandemic, I noticed that many items here are more expensive compared to other stores and online. More importantly, I now have a better option—Costco. I love their prices and quality.
That said, I still need to visit Meijer because Costco doesn’t have everything I need. But things changed again this year when Aldi opened right next to Costco. Costco + Aldi is the perfect combo for me, letting me spend less while getting better quality groceries.

I shop your store frequently. On 12/15/2024 I had a wonderful cashier. Her name was Breanna. She has great social skills. Very pleasant and always smiles. She should be commended for her work. Today however, I had Madalyn. I will try to avoid her line at all cost from now on. Today she was more concerned on how her co worker had his hat on backwards and couldn't keep track of what she was doing with the customer infront of me. Then it became my turn. No greeting no smiles just plain rude. I know it's the holidays and people are stressed. But I don't think you want her to treat your customers like that. Maybe some of your people need a class on how to treat customers.

Not happy with the split grocery aisles. Wanted to use my points right away for gas and couldn't as they don't load immediately. Super busy store...Not sure the points are worth the hassle...

They have a good food selection. Their health and beauty set up is weird and hard to navigate. Very congested. Their clothes are extremely cute but over priced. Have to wait for them to go on sale and hope the right size is still there. Plus I don't really see staff on the sales floor. Its nice to habe staff on the sales floor as well. Overall an okay store.

Terrific store. I prefer buying from Michigan's Meijer brand, and their produce really can't be beat. I often find clothing deals I really like, too. Just wish that spot of town wasn't such a traffic nightmare. Its not a great location but worth it for anything you could possibly need, plus the gas station adjacent.
