Had not heard of Modern Explorer’s Guild before and have never been to Michigan, but they shipped me a board game all the way across the country. Box was packed perfectly and came to me within a very reasonable amount of time.

Very awesome little hole in the wall comic book shop! They also deal in Magic, board games, Dungeons and Dragons, and Warhammer 40K. Definitely worth a visit!

Nice place. Lots of variety of products. They even have some gloomhaven / Frost Haven products. People were nice and they do game events at the store. Hopefully I get a chance to join in soon.

absolutely terrible. forst i was trying to sell cards in bulk and some mythics for some cash but apperently they wouldnt buy the bulk cards because they are in poor condition. second i specifically asked not to take my $50 card out of the sleeve but when i ran out to my car and came back i saw them bending it. also if you want to sell cards dont come here, they give 50% store credit or 40% cash. disgrace to mtg...

The Modern Explorers Guild has great customer service and a great selection of TTRPG supplies, comic books, board games and trading cards. My son loves hunting thru the dollar Pokemon card bin and talking about Pokemon cards with Mike.

Amazing staff they have always helped me with anything I had a question with. Whether it be answering the question directly or pointing me to where I may find the answer. Overall great company the prices are competitive and the community within is generally positive.

My experience was awesome!! The place is easy to miss, but this is far from a whole in the wall type of place. If you are looking for some D&D action or if comics or cards strike your fancy, then this place has a big selection. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. I was greeted with a friendly Australian shepherd dog who welcomed me into the store. The store was very neat and clean and well organized. I didn't have a problem finding the things I was looking for and was blown away by the deals. I will definitely be visiting again. ?
