I have tried to use the Midland location three times during normal business hours only to find it closed. Today there was a hand scribbled note taped to the door stating, "closed for lunch back at 4:20" this was at 3:50 pm.

i am VERY disappointed in sallys today. i love going to sallys infact i am in there quite frequently though the last few times i have went i have dreaded seeing a specific worker due to his demeanor. i went with a friend not too long ago to pick out devoloper and black hairdye. thats it. this man whom has pink hair would not stop pushing us to buy more products we did not need. my friend said no probably 8 different ways and he would not stop to the point my friend was noticably shaking due to anxiety this man has given us.

Not sure who the male manager is here, but I think he needs some education.I tried returning this Ion cordless electric beard grooming brush, because it quit charging after 15 days of use. My husband really liked it and thought maybe we just got a bad one and wanted to just exchange.He told me that they do not do returns on clipper blades. I pointed to the box and assured him they’re no clippers. He said “yeahhh, but technically they’re in that category” I ask how and he said “because they’re in the same section as those” I stated that the back of the receipt said it was returnable it’s like a straightener for men! Like what?! He said he would return it “just this once, but will not do it again.” No, manager guy, if it happens again I’ll be back. Per my receipt rights and restrictions I didn’t spend $60 on a straighter for it to only work 15 days. I called Bay Rd in Saginaw where they were originally purchased and talked to Mary, she is amazing. If I have further problems she said she would help out and that he should’ve just returned it without problem. Thanks Mary, you have a 5 star. As for the guy 1. As for the location and store itself, very clean and nice 4 star.

The worker named Myles (who I think is the new manager) is absolutely terrible. He's told me to use developer in my semi permanent dye and when I told him it wasn't needed (because it isn't meant to be mixed with developer whatsoever) he insisted I needed it and told me I was wrong. On top of that he was pressuring me repeatedly by telling me I need to sign up for the credit card. Everyone else at this store is super helpful and kind but Myles is the polar opposite.

Have what I need mostly, some staff is very nice and very helpful others are completely rude. My recent experience was by far the worst. Not sure I will be returning.

The store manager is always so helpful every time I’ve been to this location. I stopped in on Christmas Eve looking for something very specific. She volunteered that they unfortunately did not carry it but shared with me another store in town that did. Needless to say, I found what I was looking for at that store with her help and it saved my Christmas gift!! Thank you!!

I don't know that I will ever go back to this Sally's Beauty. I was looking to bleach my hair to finish the color I was going for, and I waited a very long time in between bleach treatments I only did one before going to Sally's to find a better product than what I had previously used. I explained to the woman I asked for help with that I was terrified to fry my hair again because I had once before and wanted to avoid doing it again. She recommended a product and told me to leave it in for an hour and then wash it out. I only left it in for 45 minutes because an hour seemed excessive for the amount she told me to use. My hair is now falling out and no matter what I do to fix it or help it, more and more just falls out.I am heartbroken and I can't even look in the mirror, my head now bleeds if I scratch it..I'm not allergic to anything and that woman told me what to do, and how to do it and I followed all of it except by cutting it 15 minutes short. I have never felt uglier.
