The lady Saturday at the front desk was great! Friendly and explaining . I had to drive from the Hartland post office because our clerks even that I arrived 30 minutes before closing wouldn't ship my packages until Tuesday (Monday is a holiday) . Actually , I was there at 12:04, the clerk told me I was 4 minutes late to meet their artificial cut off. 'She just took the cart to the back room ' , I was told in our 2,200 sq foot office. A far walk! I read the other reviews. Some people seem to be complaining about carriers. I don't live in Milford . I can tell you when you visit the post office daily with work packages to be shipped , it's no fun dealing with lazy, complaining clerks. Milford from my , and my daughters experiences have been great. My home carriers are great , they work from the Fenton post office. They sit in open to the weather trucks putting mail in rural boxes in slippery roads , and not complain as I've had the pleasure to get my mail as they are passing . Too bad our Hartland post office clerks sitting in a warm building can't find the same attitude! The clerks we have met at Milford were great. Oh, I did ask the Milford clerk if I arrived at 2:58 as the office closed at 3 on Saturday , would she take my packages and would they leave that day. Yes she said ! Thanks for doing what you signed up for!!!

The service is disgusting. The parcel bought on eBay came to this post office and instead of being delivered to my mailbox, it was given to a completely different person who came to their office that day to pick up his parcels. At the same time, the status began to be displayed in the track number - the parcel has been delivered, individually picked up. It was impossible to get through to the post office, no one answers. The next day I had to go to this office for lunch from work to find out what was going on. I was told that the package was not processed correctly and therefore it was detained at the office. I asked if it was possible to pick up the parcel now, but they told me that the parcel should be brought to my house on the same day and there I would pay an additional commission that the sender did not pay. OK, I'm going back to work. My wife was at home all day, but no one came with the package. The next day, my wife went to the office and as it turned out, our parcel was given to a completely different person. At the same time, the day before, when I was there, they didn't tell me anything about it. My wife was told again, as well as me, that they could not give the parcel and that it should be brought home that day. The wife began to swear and said that this could not continue and the post office was obliged to give the parcel or change the status in the track number as - not delivered. Only after that, the post office employee took out the parcel and after paying the commission, the parcel was returned. At the same time, the employee communicated with her in a rude way. There was also no apology for the fact that the parcel was given to a completely different person and at the same time deceived us. I do not advise anyone to waste their nerves in this post office.

Absolutely disgusted with milford mail carriers. They don't even come to the door with your certified mail. They just leave a slip in the mailbox saying we missed you. I was home all day waiting for a envelope, and not one person came to the door. I checked the mailbox at 1 pm and had no mail. Just checked it at 230pm, and there's my mail with a sorry we missed you. Now I have to wait until Monday to get this price of mail.... government employees are above and beyond lazy employees.. only after the benefits of the employment and does the least amount of work or effort in the field. America's work force is pathetic these days.

Rushed in traffic to get there by 6PM closing time and they weren’t even open. The 6 was actually scraped off the door where the times were posted. Typical post office. Never enough time to make it in with their ridiculous hours. What a joke.

After two separate bad experiences at the Milford post office, I’m done. Today, their “systems were down” so the attendant could not print off my label via a QR code. Rather than offering to print it via email, she told me to go to the local library and print it off, come back, and then she’d ship. After explaining to the attendant that she needs a better solution, another worker was able to print it off for me, no problem. Waste of time.
My second experience was arriving promptly at 9 AM, then having to wait 20 minutes at the counter for the attendant who decided to show up late that day. Many other customers left out of frustration.

This is the worst post office. There have been several times I have needed to sign for a package. At the attempted delivery I have not been home to sign. They never leave an attempt notice therefore I have no idea my package was being tried to be delivered until I have to actually track my package from the shipper. Stop being lazy Milford MI. post office and leave the notice in the mailbox or on the door. This is on top of not always getting my regular mail or getting my neighbors mail or getting mail for someone that lives nowhere close to me.

I hate the nickel and dime approach. I took in a return package but didn't adhere the return label because I didn't know if the post office preferred the label to be waterproof. The desk clerk refused to use the tape in front of her to stick the label and insisted I pay $4 for a roll of tape. So much for me trying to help. I'm sure this is post office policy and not the fault of the clerk.

I am posting so the Post Office knows, not because I am upset. The location may be ground level but is not handicap accessible. On crutches or a wheelchair there isn't a button to open the doors.Considering it is a federal building, I am a bit surprised. I am temporarily on crutches or I would never have noticed. I could not open either of the doors.

Mail receptacles outside the post office are taped closed with a sign that says "out of order". It's been at least 3 days. What's out of order? The door? On both of them?

Comically bad. Tracking info made up. Carriers say you weren’t home when they never knocked. I laugh when its not something important.

I went to the post office today and the line had about five people in front of me. Standing in line, I couldn’t help but notice how the guy was so polite and patient with every person, he worked quickly. He must have been told to have people fill out the survey from the post office because he asked each person to do so, and circled it on the receipt, which I did as well as this review. I feel when people do a good job they need to be recognized.
