I just left the Kroger in Monroe on Monroe st. I was with my mom my little cousin and my 6 year old son. We were checking out in the self check out we had already started so we had like maybe 2 bags already scanned and bagged the worker her name was Sarah she said line 10 has almost no line we said we were fine and thanked her she just looked at us and walked away then we needed help to continue and she made us wait forever and kept helping other people even people that just was walking up just completely ignoring us then she finally makes her way and says line 10 has no line we said we're okay again and she gave us a dirty look and then starts looking through our bags just being very rude. I've never gotten treated so rude before ever in my life.

Very disappointed. My car was smashed while I was shopping and the police refused to write a ticket for my insurance company to verify because it was on private property. That seems against state law to me but makes me think Kroger is not doing the best it can to ensure the safety of their customers either

What's with the employees at Kroger. They used to be friendly. Check out clerk today refused to look at me or the young family in front of me. This seems to be an ongoing issue of late?

Kroger is one of the corporation's that has been identified as price gouging Americans. You know they are gouging when you can buy Pepsi and other items cheaper at convenience stores.I don't need Kroger employees thanking me for coming in to the store. I need Kroger to charge fair prices which they are not!I've cut Kroger out of 90% of my food needs. I recommend you do like I do. Go to Walmart and Costco. The quality and pricing are so much better. At Walmart I typically get canned items for a $1.00 less than Kroger. Costco had the highest quality meat. I wouldn't give Kroger half the price for the substandard meat they sell. Costco only charges $4.99 for their roasters which have double the meat compared to Krogers anorexic roasters.Act smart and investigate other choices. You can do better. Let them stop thank you for being a chump. One ex-chump

I have several thing to say. I have lived in Ohio for 12 years now. I realize I am not back in LA where there are 4 -5 major grocery stores within any given 5 mile radius...thus meaning there is NO competition here. What I have to say applies whether or not there is a covid pandemic going on or not because these issues have existed all this time. 1. Would somebody at this store pleaee attach a key to the pipe controlling the fire hose (yes, fire hose) that is constantly soaking the produce. You need a soft mist once in a while but some fool over there doesn;t trust anyone with a silly key and the lettuce etc is mush so they prefer to trash it. No wonder I go to Jungle Jim'. 2. When after 12 years are you going to stop moving everything around. It is ridiculous the extent to which items show up in different places at any given time. Is there socialism already, who knows. i 3. Tell these silly district managers who come out periodically that they aren;t fooling anyone. Once in a while one of them bags groceries to pretend to get involved. This is BS. The store has biGGer issues than these guys trying to act like they are part of the crew. They stand either by the flowers or the nutritional drink area in a huddle with their arms folded looking around as if they are paying attention or overseeing. Thes men serve no purpose and are merely going through the motions. It is a joke to anyone who has ever managed a serious operation. 4. DO YOU WANT TO SERVE THE CUSTOMER ? Really...well how about this novel (ahem} idea ? There is this small device called a buzzer you can place at the meat counter that we can ring when we want to place an order. This prevents the butcher from constantly having to look out the door to see if a line is forming. Nope, some BS policy will not allow for it. 5. Maybe I would buy some shrimp or fish once in a while if I didn't smell it within 30 feet. This is a major turn off and guess what, how much fish could you have sold if somebody didn;t want to stand and wait for someone to look out the door to help us. Now don't get on the employees about this. This is all due to politicians and management neglect. 6. Finally,. allow the store manager and his/her staff to have a little independence. If you hire real logical pragmatic managers instead of promoting sycophants you will have them....and stop doing what everybody else is doing. 7. STOP filling in holes where product doesn't exist to make it look like the store is running out of product. Let the store manager rather than some person in an office decide how much to order. I know, it is scary for tyhe politicians, but you people have no clue of how many people shop elsewhere because of this , none. If there are holes there is a trason, and putting product there that doesn't belong isn't fooling anyone except YOU. Get real and replace your silly corporate politics with logic and common sense...and pray that competition never arrives because they will force you to do this. 8. Just a note here. Nobody is fooled. Your entire oper corporate ation is structured to hinder customer communication. Thank you in advance for ignoring this.

I hate this store. And the lazy employees in it. Disregard the Operating hours, they don't acknowledge them anyway . You could go up there 15 minutes before they close and They will turn you way. I'm sitting in the parking lot right now and 20 ppl were denied entry. Not even closing time.

This Kroger almost always has stock of items and I always find their employees very kind. Compared to another local Kroger this is 5 stars plus. This would have been 5 stars if not for their pickup option. I selected a predetermined time by them to pick up my groceries, they only have one person working the grocery pickup which is not her fault at all. Sadly I have been waiting more than 50 minutes to pick up groceries. That's my only complaint. Otherwise great store.

Monroe Kroger Pharmacy. I went in to pick up two prescriptions for my son today, March 6, 2020. They were out of one of his prescriptions; No problem... What do we need to do now. I was confused on the protocol of having another pharmacy call Kroger pharmacy to have them release his prescriptions to them. Which made me have to ask the technician twice what exactly It was I needed to do. Myself, coming across confused; Due to the fact that we are exhausted from my son not feeling well I'm sure I sounded upset. From that moment on the pharmacy tech was short and abrasive with her tone. She avoided eye contact and dismissed my questions and the fact that I was standing there. As I'm on the phone with the NEW Pharmacy she walks away and isn't able to help me with the questions they have for me. (In this moment She was Not professional at all in my opinion). Once again, I needed help with the specifics on the script and the technician that was helping us in the first place treated my questions as a Nuisance..... Thankfully another technician gave me their phone number so the new pharmacy could call Monroe Kroger Pharmacy. The whole point of the conversation in the first place... KROGER pharmacy tech-LETS take a step back and consider your customers..... my son and I do not frequently visit any Pharmacy... especially yours and we have no idea what the protocols are or how our prescriptions should be filled. We NEED YOU to do your job and help in this situation. I realize your establishment is busy and you have other people to assist. However, when a mother is there for her ill child and you tell her you're out of what they need a LITTLE COMPASSION & UNDERSTANDING goes a long way to help and answer their questions POLITELY!! Long story shorty, We will NOT be using YOUR facility again!!!

The checkout process at this Kroger is beyond deplorable! There are 20 some self check-out registers and equally, the same number of employee check out lanes, yet they refuse to staff and operate the employee registers, forcing customers to go to self checkout to avoid the horrendous lines in the few lanes that are actually operated by cashiers and baggers, or wait 30 mins or more in line for an actual human to check you out. Self checkout should be utilized to make the proce

Customer service! It's literally a free for all in there. The cashiers are always talking to each other. Some barely recognize that you're standing there. I love shopping here. But I seriously regret the checkout process every time. The leadership is exactly the same. Everyone's talking and joking with each other up until they need your money and as soon as your receipt prints they're back at it again. It annoying and disrespectful. Let's just say even Walmart customer service is better.
