Lazy boy is now charging 39.99 to pick up your purchase at their warehouses. Please explain this to me. Why charge you to actually get the product you purchases. EVERYTHING! in my living room and dining room is Lazy Boy. Couch, dining table and chairs, rugs, end tables. This purchase took me by surprise and I went through with it but it is my last. I will never be taken advantage of again in that way. Ridiculous, how can that even be a thing? A charge to actually get what you already purchased.

If you're looking for a death trap in a recliner along with spending around $4k of your hard earned money with a side of lies being told to you by the manager on his drive to work from Church on a Sunday afternoon, La-Z-Boy, Inc. on Hurstbourne Pkwy is the place to buy from!! One stop shop!!

I bought a chair in September 2022 and took delivery in January 2023. There were gaps between the side and top cushion and the mechanism didn't allow the front of the chair to close flush. I had to wait until April for a tech to come look at the chair. He replaced the mechanism and it still didn't fix the issues so, he said he would order another mechanism and a new chair back. Months later another tech showed up with a new chair back but, no mechanism . Apparently, it was never ordered. Long story short, it is now late November 2023 and Ron in customer service still does not have an answer for me as to whether " the committee " will either fix the chair or order a new one. I have to keep calling him only to be told that they still haven't made a decision. Lazy Boy is eager to sell you furniture however, blow you down the road when you have an issue. Very disappointing! Buyer be wary of buying from Lazy Boy.

I had very bad experience with La-Z—Boy shop in Indianapolis. They did not responding at phones calls I was listening music at phone for 1 hours. I didn’t recommended to anyone this shop . Staff is not friendly. They friendly when they need to sell you something but us soon you bought they don’t like to know you.

La-Z-Boy sells a "5 year Protection Plan" but when you want service they put you in a fool's loop from local to corporate and back again. With never a person to speak to and no way to schedule or get service!La-Z-Liars is who they are. La-Z-Boy took my money ($2K)and left me with their broken furniture. La-Z-Liars, La-Z-Cheaters, La-Z-Trickey. Take the money and run that's La-Z-Boy. "Defending Your Right"... to Get Screwed by La-Z-Boy.

Service is horrible. They don't answer the phone and don't return multiple phone messages. Had to call Michigan or go into the store to talk to anyone. They're all over you when they think you're going to buy but once they have the sale...good luck. Told our order would be 6-8 weeks it took 11 weeks and we had to call them to find out where it was. Then there was a problem with the seat sagging on the loveseat. It took 2 weeks to have someone come look at it and another 3 weeks to get the new seat with no guarantee the fabric would match. Thankfully it did. When the installer came he said the 1st one was pretty bad. I feel like the 2nd one may not hold up long either. I expected more for the price we paid!

We bought two La-Z-Boy recliners last year at a cost of over $3000. One of the chairs developed a tear at a seam in the footrest. We called for service and a tech came out and did a quick repair sewing up the tear. A month later the tear opened up again and a hole developed next to the repair. We called again and explained the problem. We were told a tech could come out at a cost of $160/hr since we had just past the one year warranty period. We said that this was not a new problem but a repair of the original repair. We said there should be no charge for the service call. A few days later a tech came out and looked at the repair. Instead of acknowleding that the original repair was faulty, he proceeded to blame us for the problem. He said he could check to see how much an new footrest would cost. We told him we were not paying for anything. With that, he got up and promptly left, leaving the damaged recliner. We will have to contact La-Z-Boy corporate to see if anything can/will be done about the problem.

don't buy lazy boy anymore, the recliners are junk. I have bought two both reclining mechanisms broke. the first one was after about five years. my new one has now broke for the second time in 4 years. same exact problem as broke the first time. the warranty is garbage after the first year you pay a service call minimum fee for me is $160 plus tax. basically I have not put $400 into the chair after 4 years. I'm going back to flexsteel and will never buy lazy boy again. I have never had an issue with flexsteel and they seem to be higher quality

I Purchased, a manual recliner based on the floor model that I sat in which was firm and appeared to be well upholstered. What I got was a chair that did not have much stuffing in it, and the upholstery job is rather shoddy- on one arm the fabric is all smooth and the other one is all puckered. When I complained at the furniture store that I purchased it at, the woman just told me to look around the show room, and there are many like that; It wasn’t on the model I looked at. It looks ridiculous. I will never buy another lazy boy again. They used to be known for their quality, but I guess they don’t offer it anymore

LA-Z-BOY is charging me $506.40 to replace a defective part on my 5 year old recliner. 3 hrs labor at over $160 per hr. On youtube they show the part being replaced in 20 minutes or so. Had to wait for over a month and a half to get it done.

We purchased Lazy Boy furniture in 2021. The couch and love seat are used infrequently, but seem fine. The power recliner for me had to have a motor replaced within 2-3 mos of delivery. I am not a heavy person, but just recently the frame underneath broke and left shards of wood all over. So great, we have a warranty for that! A rep from Lazy Boy repairs texted me. She said the parts for replacement are under warranty IF it’s a manufacturer’s error. She proceeded to say that they “encourage self repairs”! How could the warranty remain in place if the buyer takes it upon themselves to repair? Also, how would it be determined if it was a manufacturer’s error or not? That option seemed bizarre! However, if they repair, she let me know the cost would be approx $90 for the tech to come out, a parts charge if it was NOT the manufacturer’s error, a shipping and handling charge, and a labor charge. Not only that, but if parts are unavailable, it could be 8-10 weeks to get them! That is totally unacceptable. One of the reasons you buy from a“reputable” company is for the good warranty. We waited several months to receive our furniture and are not willing to wait approx 8-10 weeks on parts to repair it after only 2 years. We will no longer purchase furniture from Lazy Boy, and if our friends and family inquire, we will advise them not to either.

I bought a floor model recliner in June I thought it was a good discount and since it was a Lazyboy product I felt confident in its quality but I was sorely disappointed. The last line in the receipt says the chair can't be returned for any reason at all. The padding the mechanics and the reclining process is almost impossible for my 5'6 height. The salesman said when I called with my problem was "after all you did sit in it in the showroom". Sitting for 5 minutes and living with it at home is totally different. This chair had to be returned and resold I will bet on that. I had to buy a new chair from a store that gave me a quality piece of furniture and customer service.

Purchased two leather chairs from Loveland store that are defective. The seat and back cushions are so over stuffed they very literally push you out of the chair. Uncomfortable and nonfunctional. The seat is over stuffed to the point it is round and raises you up so much that my feet are well off the ground, The leather on one chair is not laid correctly and has a large fold. The cushion on the arms of both chairs does not go all the way to the end of the arm and causes it to collapse making a divot. I called the company and they sent a technician to the house. The tech said he could not repair the chairs, He said he has seen this same chair with the same issues before and was unable to repair. La-Z-Boy main office has called me back today and said they will not replace or refund the chairs. They have agreed to repair the arms. However, it will not address the other larger issues with the chairs. In addition, the tech said he would have to completely take the chair apart in order to repair the arm. I am not sure what I would be left with then. I have gone to the store and sat in the model chair a few times. It does not look or feel like the chairs delivered. The cushions are appropriate, the leather smooth and my feet touch the ground.I highly advise you research La-Z-Boy before you consider purchasing. Now I see all the complaints and negative reviews filed against them. FYI-my review of the chair was not posted on the La-z-boy website. Now I am left with either accepting these expensive and useless chairs or pursuing further action against themUpdate: This is the response from the company to my BBB complaint:"The customer's unit is functioning as designed. As stated in our previous response, with use, the cushions on the customer's unit will compress. We expect at least an inch of compression within the first year of normal use."So, apparently I have to wait a year for the cushions to "compress." How is the chair not functional at first use. Why must I wait I wait a year!!!! And a inch would not be enough!!Avoid them-don't buy La-z-boy.

Wow, just wowThis is taken months to try to fix a couch. Now they want me to pay even more money to fix the couch. They wanted to pay so much money it's about forty percent of the original price. beware Their product is trash ? It doesn't last. I am so upset I can't take the time. To tell you everything that went wrong. My couch broke at eighteen months.
