I was refused any treatment for anaphylaxis/pneumonitis. Told by E.R. female physician that she would not give treatment and to discharge me home. I am a R.N. and was treated like a non-human. Do not take anyone to this bandaid station!!! I ended up calling 911 and was transported to Ann Arbor for treatment and received the treatment required.

My fiance brought my 7 month daughter here because she had a 102.9 fever and looked like breathing issues. Well I have covid so we thought something was wrong so she took her to the emergency room and waited to be seen then when she is seen they checked her temp which was still really high and said she had a elevated heart rate so instead of bringing her back to figure out what's going on with a BABY they decide to put them in the waiting room for over 2 hours. Where's the priority levels at for this hospital. So finally they get back in the room and all they do is a covid and flu test and say "oh you can wait or go home for results because either way we can't do anything for those symptoms" so she went home. The hospital didn't even have the decency to call with results we had to look online to find them and then the health department called to let us know she has covid the hospital still hasn't contacted us since yesterday. Monroe promedica is the worst hospital ever they are going to keep getting babies and people killed if things don't change. I believe this was malpractice and we are going to make damn sure my daughter doesn't come back to this hospital. We will drive to Toledo because at least we know they will do their job.

I had the worst experience. I had to have emergency surgery. I woke up in recovery very out of it from the anesthesia, I didn’t even realize where I was. But I woke up to being called a cry baby by a staff member. Then another staff member was on the phone talking to someone and saying I have a possibility of being on drugs. I was also being questioned about my psych meds. I wanted to make a complaint but the nurses told me “good luck with that” when I was brought back to my room I told my spouse I was ready to go home, explained what happened in recovery. I had a nurse get very aggressive with me and had bucked up at me while I was sitting on the bed. Her co worker told her to leave my room.Ever since this has all happened to me my anxiety has gotten worse, I feel I cannot trust anybody when I have a health issue. I didn’t deserve for this to happen and no matter what I do it doesn’t change the fact all of this happened ☹️ don’t go to this hospital if you have a choice.

I am very pleased with the hard work of everyone at promedica monroe hospital. From the time my husband went in for major surgery and the second floor nurses and aids, and the good hospital food; I was thankful for the great care of my husband and myself. I would feel confident to go to promedica hospital for my future medical needs. Thank you all for your going ubove and beyond your jobs and careers to make our stay as comfortable and informative.I'm an old caregiver who thinks people who can should go out of their way to bring peace of mind and trust in one's care for a great outcome. Promedica Monroe Hospital made us feel like we mattered. Thank you to all who were there for us... you know who you're.Eugene and CindyThe CEO should be happy.

This place is absolutely pathetic. My mom had to wait an hour and forty minutes for a nurse to show up to move her from her chair to her bed. Then after waiting thirty minutes for the nurse to answer her call light, because her pain was at a 10. I had to go to the nurses station, where 6 nurses were sitting around talking about one of them having a grand baby on the way. When I asked them for help they looked annoyed, and took 15 minutes to walk to her room. I would not recommend the hospital to my worst enemy.

The doctors are incompetent. They don't listen to you. And they keep you there probably to make more money. One doctor could have killed me by holding a blood thinner. I did forget to mention that the nurses were kind and very helpful. I one nurse was named Brooke. I'veeanners upgraded to 2 stars because of this. There was also one doctor who had excellent bedside manners..

They gave me 1 IV bag and discharged me without telling me what was wrong with me. I had to find out my diagnosis on the discharge papers. I don't have any medications to fix the diagnosis and am still in severe pain. Terrible! Do not go here. I should've taken the extra trip to any other hospital.

The young blond girl drawing blood in the emergency room should be fired or sent back to school. She collapsed my vein and blood was gushing out all over the bed, floor, my clothes, and she got my blood all over her hands and arms. It was absurd. She did this by twisting the port 360’ rotation while in my arm. She said it’s ok it’s just plastic. She quickly cleaned up the blood and made me help her change the sheets on the bed before anyone else seen. She is literally dumb.

Have been here with my teenage son, for stomach issues myself and have had several surgeries at this facility. It is always clean, bright and staff are friendly and attentive. I have always been seen to by medical staff within 30 min, whether I had an appointment or not.

My daughter was in the hospital for the birth of her 1st child and my 1st granddaughter. When you have family of a loved one giving birth and they are there all night long. Have coffee in the waiting room or somewhere for the families . Also the cafeteria closes way to early. 6p? That's early. We walked down 6:15p to grab dinner and they were closed. So we did not eat. We stayed still my daughter gave birth at 4a. Were not leaving the hospital just in case something happened. Also my daughter had her family in the waiting room and it seamed they didn't want any family there at all. They were rude. Im.sorry we were not leaving!!

The labor and delivery nurses and doctors were amazing. Super kind, great care and knowledgeable. The lab technicians were inexperienced. They had to poke my baby an extra 4 times because each time they did it wrong and now I have to take my baby for the third time to get her newborn screen because they also did it wrong. Now my baby has scars on her heels and I have to again watch her endure a painful and scary experience. For the lab technicians alone I would never go back.

Very welcoming. The nurses and staff couldn't have had a better bedside manner. The surgical staff kept me comfortable and felling taken care of. Dr. Chopra was the best. I would definitely recommend them for all of your colonoscopy needs.
