I reserved a storage unit with them and when I came to fill out the paperwork and move my stuff in no one was at the building. It was during normal business hours but apparently they decided to be closed that day. I didn't see them advertise it, but it cost like $36 down payment including insurance to move your stuff in to their facility. After talking to there call center I gave up on using them for my storage needs. They call me just about everyday asking if I still want a storage unit. I wish I could tell you guys how good their storage actually is but I never even made it into the building.

From the moment I walked into the front office there was a wonderful kind woman at the front counter. Hailey was on the phone with a customer and she acknowledged me right away and I felt very welcomed when I spoke to her. She helped me out with my new password, she also helped me purchase a new lock for my storage unit. Storage Rental of America should be very happy they have a great person as the face of the storage units there on telegraph road in Monroe....John campbell

Dishonest in my opinion. I rented a unit back in April 2025, and the rent was around $36 I believe. Come September and they jack the rent up to around $53. I called customer service and I was told it was a “market increase.” Keep in mind they will also charge insurance fees on top of that if you don’t have your own. That’s a 68% increase according to my calculations! Do you think your boss will give you a 68% pay increase if you asked for it? I doubt it. No loyalty to existing customers. I was once a very happy customer, but now I have removed all my stuff and will no longer trust this company again. I think they are dishonest and taking advantage of people. I have vacated my unit, and I recommend that people look for a different option.
Within 5 hours I had the old unit vacated, a new unit secured with another company, and all my stuff safely stored in the new unit. Look at A Bigger Garage in Carleton. They took good care of me. As for the old place—I’ll never rent from you after this stunt.

I had a wonderful experience at Storage Rentals of America, and I owe a lot of that to Hailey at the front desk. She was so friendly, professional, and really went above and beyond to make the rental process quick and easy.

This place is absolutely horrible!!! Left on hold for 20 minutes. First gate code didn’t work. I paid for a 10x20 and got (2) 10x10 units. Then they didn’t honor the 2 months free when I signed up online. Tried calling and they told me there was nothing they could do! Every person I talked to treated me like garbage! They have no customer service. Run from this place and go anywhere else. The hassle isn’t worth saving a few dollars!!!

I've had a storage unit for more then a year before new manager and company and the transition was smooth easy and hassle-free love the new owners and would recommend to anyone lookn for a great clean hassle-free climate controlled units...Storage rentals of American awesome 👌
