River Raisin Marina & Campground is a friendly and well-located campground situated on the River Raisin, just a quarter mile from Lake Erie and near Sterling State Park. It offers nearly all sites with city water, sewer, and 50 amp electric service, surrounded by wetlands and wildlife sanctuaries, with a nesting pair of bald eagles nearby. The campground is close to the River Raisin National Battlefield Park and a state park hiking trail starts just 150 feet from the entrance, making it ideal for outdoor activities. Visitors appreciate the helpful staff, especially the manager, who go above and beyond to ensure a great experience. The location is perfect for fishing, especially for Walleye, and for paddling along the lagoons to the state park beach. Guests enjoy the shaded sites, spacious areas to walk dogs, and the friendly community of neighbors. Many visitors also enjoy nearby restaurants and entertainment, with some catching catfish right at their sites. The campground is open year-round, making it a convenient spot for work or leisure trips. Overall, it is described as a gem with a welcoming atmosphere and excellent amenities.
We are just beginning our stay. I was awesome to be greeted and welcomed the by the camp host. RV site is level and we have a nice view.

There are some great people running this campground. It's in a very relaxing location right on the water and is well kept. While I didn't stay, they were very kind and helpful to me as a guest.
