This is a small-ish campground that is 15 minutes from Fermi NPP. I was here for the nuke outage so all the spots were taken. The spots are a touch small and they have a Bobcat to help get the campers get into the spots. Camp host was very helpful and kind.

I can't say enough wonderful things about this hidden gem nestled along the scenic riverbanks of Michigan! My family and I have been staying here seasonally for years and each visit has been nothing short of magical. The location is unbeatable for fishing enthusiasts like us. We've had some of our best catches right from the marina docks! The owners go above and beyond to ensure every guest feels welcome and at home. The campground is meticulously maintained. There's an unmatched sense of camaraderie among fellow campers and anglers here. It's more than just a place to park your RV, it's a community of like-minded nature lovers, travelers and fishing enthusiasts...Thank you to the fantastic owners for creating such a wonderful haven for all of us fisherman, travelers, and nature lover! We'll be back for many more seasons to come!

Came here for a quiet last trip of the season. Staff was helpful and friendly. Bathroom/shower is clean and bright and accessible. While it's across the river from some industrial space and not far from 75, it's quiet and the wind in the trees make for a nice white noise. It's a marina, with a launch, so there is room for your boat and you could get a site on the water right next to your boat. It's local to shopping, and some nice parks.Evidently the industrial stuff across the river makes a good area for bald eagles to live. Every day we were here, we caught a glimpse of them flying by or in a tree on the river. This alone is worth the price of admission. (Evidently there are at least 80 pairs in the area) The campground seems to be popular for long term guests, so it's not a place with set activities, which was perfect for us- we wanted a spot to light a fire and touch grass without hayrides and fall festivities. The exit onto Elm off of 75 is sharp, make sure to prepare. The sites aren't large, but the tall poplar trees give a nice spacious ambiance to the campground. We were here in October so I wasn't about to kayak, but when we come back it will be on the agenda.

Campground is decent. The past reviews are definitely true. We were told one price then arrived and was met with another price completely. I will say that Karen is fair and tries her best to work with you. Not a great location for children, clean bathroom and

This camp is not directly on the beach. There is a 5 mile hike through the marshland and butterfly garden. Before arriving at the beach. It is quietly tucked away in a Little Bay, the boots line, the Marina The grass is maintained Showers have amazing hot water but very little pressure. We will definitely be returned campers.

Was supposed to meet up with friends and this location was a convenient meeting area for both. Checked in we were there only 45 minutes, and found out our friends couldn't meet up. I went in to the office and explained and said we were just going to go home. They would not refund our money, (paid with cash) so it would have been easy to refund. And we were there less than an hour! I can understand a no refund policy. But, as a business owner myself, I consider the situation of things. And I would think that something like this could be an acceptance. The place is a dump. The website is deceiving. Don't stay here!

This was the worst place to camp! False advertising, no place for tents nothing to do unless you want to leave and go pay money somewhere else. It's right across the water from a huge plant that is running all night long. It's very loud and gross. Employee came and harassed us for having more than one tent. After we were told we could have it. Then begain to shush us anytime we tried to ask questions. She tried to charge us more for the extra tent. After reading the rules posted she tried "cutting us a deal" and not charging us. Then continued to harass us. My children were very upset and my cousins birthday was ruined thanks to this woman. We were so offended from the moment we entered we decided to cut our vacation short due to a horrible stay! I recommend never going here as they are rude and don't follow the rules or advertisements on their website.

Came up here with my husband for work and Karen was amazing. She got us a spot and was so welcoming and helpful! Our site was beautiful and had a full view of the lake. The RV park was very well kept up and everyone was so friendly! We read previous reviews and were skeptical, but it exceeded our expectations! Everything was great, it was nice and shady, and very quiet. My husband worked nights and had no problem sleeping during the day. We will be staying here again if we come back to Monroe ?.

We were traveling through and needed a site for 2 nights. Called on phone and paid up front.$60 per nightWhat a shock!! Could't find anyone when we arrived. Spent 10 minutes looking for someone. The owner had forgotten to tell her manager.Site was SO close to other campers. Bathrooms were clean BUT no door!! That was the end for us. No way to lock the door when you go to bathroom or shower! We left after first night. The "Marina" was an industrial dock. It looks as if most of the sites are taken up by people who live there long term. Save your money and go to the state park next door. Half the price and MUCH nicer.ADDITION. We did call ahead and pay in advance. Were told someone would be there but the manager knew nothing about us arriving.Yes there is a lock on the bathroom door and an explicit note saying don’t lock it.

This is a nice private little campsite with tons of river front sites, especially for tent campers. It’s great for fishing! The staff is very friendly and will jump to accommodate you as well. We will definitely be back!

I really enjoyed my stay at River Raisin. The owners are awesome people. Karen was amazing. She was so sweet and kind. The place is clean and your neighbors are quiet. Anytime I come back this way I will stay here. The prices are great. There is a place to go fishing right at your campsite. Definitely recommend this place to everyone who enjoys a wonderful camping experience.
