If I could give zero stars I would have. Stopped at this gas station August the 4th on a Friday night between 8:30-8:50pm. Put my card in the pump and tried pumping gas. After several tries with no gas actually pumping out I went inside. The man working informed me that the gas station had no gas except for premium. I informed him they had no sign’s outside or in that advised customers of this and the pump had read my card and was ready to pump. He said don’t worry about it since I didn’t pump any gas I could just hang the pump back up and it wouldn’t be an issue. Today I see that they have put a $126 hold on my card. I called and talked to someone who said she was the manager. She told me that Sunoco was aware of the issue and she would have them call me on Monday? I asked what issue and she wouldn’t elaborate. I asked her name and she refused to give me that. Even when I asked for just her first name she wouldnt provide it. She said she couldn’t do anything since she wasn’t working last night. If you are out of gas put up a sign. If you find it hard to do something as simple as this, then do not put a $126 charge on someone’s credit card that didn’t end up making a single purchase at your business.
