We love Jane’s, we have been getting a 1/2 cow done here for 3 years now and always love the cuts of meat and we think it’s a good price. 1/2 cow lasts our family of 6 all year long. Jane is VERY helpful with learning different cuts and some helpful cooking suggestions. She is wonderful!

I just wanted to let you we are Not happy with the CUTS of the meat from our 1/2 cow .We ask for 3/4"cuts on our ribeye steak and all other steaks Our ribeye steaks was only 1/4" cut and unrecognizable. The sirloin steaks was so cut up . center had cut like a pocket in it and a tons of silver skin all over it. The sirloin steaks was to be two in a package and the steaks in package where different sizes. I understand sizes will veryThe hamburger was to be 11/2lb. No consistency in the weight of the hamburger packages.I believe your butchers need to be retrain.

we just picked up our deer we did not get enough meat back 1 small box the place was very dirty and smelled they gave us only 14 packs of burger and 12 packs of steaks for a 8 point buck shot in the heart and it took them 2 weeks take it to a place you can trust and she told us the deer only have 1 tenderloin each pkg of burger was 13/4 lb that is not even 25 lbs of burger and each pkg of steak was 3/4 of a lbthats not even 10 lbs of steak so lessthan 35lbs total that is really sad

1 lb packages for burger should be offered. I have had other butchers offer 1 lb packages, so don't tell me machines can't do it. It was brought to my attention that I am the 1st to complain about this, that may be true but I can't see how I'm the only one that is frustrated about this. A more detailed label on the meat (steaks/roast) would be more helpful. If it was my choice I would never use this butcher.
