“We are totally pleased with the outcome of our kitchen project by Kurtis Kitchen. Our design consultant Cindy listened to our wants, answered our questions, gave suggestions, and guided us through the necessary selections. Cindy then explained the process and timeline of the project once the project was scheduled and begun. Cindy figured the project cost within our budget. Cindy was very knowledgeable about all the options and the overall process and was very easy to talk to and really put us at ease about our big decision.Within a few days, Kurtis Kitchen got back to us with a proposed start date and Project Manager Andy came out to take measurements. We had to adjust the project dates a little because we had a long weekend planned in the project window. That was easy and we were set for materials delivery to our garage about 5 weeks from our first meeting with Cindy and the actual work in our house starting about a week later.The workers were professional and always cleaned up before they left for the day. The teams included 2 to demolish the old 1955 ceramic tile countertop, backsplash and sink and reface the cabinets and install the new doors and drawers; 2 installed the quartz countertop and sink; the plumber and apprentice; and the gentleman that specializes in tile work for the backsplash.Andy, the Project Manager, clearly went “above and beyond”. He takes a personal interest in making sure things are done correctly. He is detail-oriented, has passion for his work, and clearly likes his job.”

“I had called Paige Garrison at Five Star Bath Solutions last Friday with an issue of water damage to our kitchen ceiling. A plumber we had out diagnosed issue coming from cold water line from the new shower that Five Star had installed. Once I reached out to Paige, we had someone (Matt) out to our house within a couple hours. Matt confirmed it was the cold water line, found the issue, and fixed it. This week we had the drywall guy out and he cut out rest of ceiling that was water damaged, repaired and painted. The customer service, speed of response, and work done was exceptional! I understand that things happen, but the timeliness of response and sense of urgency they showed was greatly appreciated. Thank you Paige and Five Star!”
“Great experience with this company. I had my cast iron tub refinished. Parts of the tub started peeling, they came back out to perform warranty service twice. To me that says a lot. They stand behind their work and will fix it if any issues arise.”
“I was not happy to find out I received the wrong tile from the Ypsilanti store the day I was installing my tiles, and since it was closer to my home I wanted to exchange the wrong tiles with the correct ones at the Shelby store. I was not happy but as a business owner I understand not everyone is at their A game all the time. the way you treat the customer after a mistake though, makes all the difference to me. Sama, the manager, went above and beyond to quickly take care of the issue for me and fixed the other store’s mistake very graciously. I was actually happy leaving the store from the experience. “Cooking can be a drag when your knives are dull. I have a knife sharpener but sometimes it doesn't do enough and I need a professional. Enter Ferrari and Sons. They make my blades feel new. Their prices are reasonable. The store is unpretentious and the staff is friendly. I also like the smell of mixed spices, which they also sell, inside.”
