My experience with McGurk’s Mini Storage has been extremely disappointing. The customer service, particularly from the young woman who handles calls, was rude and unprofessional she hung up on me multiple times despite my consistent attempts to communicate.
After fully clearing my unit and removing my lock, someone placed another lock on it, and I was wrongfully charged both an “unlock” and a “cleaning” fee. The units themselves are in poor condition, with serious cleanliness issues and rat infestations that destroyed many of my belongings within two years.
This company has shown no accountability or willingness to make things right. I strongly caution anyone considering storing their belongings here.

Awesome storage area. It's gated and even the smallest storage locker fit a couch, two dressers and all my boxes while I was away from college for the summer. About a 5 minute drive from the north side of campus. Unit did become spidery after three months of being gone but water didn't get in and nothing was ruined.

Very responsive to email and phone messages. Rented a 5x10. Put a couch and love seat on end to fit more in. Great option for CMU students.

I have been in a situation that 2 different times these guys have went beyond what they needed to do to help me and I am so very thankful for that. I would most definitely recommend for anyone to go here for any of there storage needs.

WARNING!! READ!! ABSOLUTLEY TERRIBLE UNIT! A couple years ago, I used this storage unit to put my nearly everything I owned while I was moving into my new place. A couple days later EVERYTHING was stolen out of my unit. I lost everything I owned. Police didn't help. MCGUIRK told me they would look through the video footage. A couple days later I went back and they said "There is too much video footage to look through 2-3 days worth". I went back the next day and then they replied "Oh, I saw you put your stuff in there and that's it." I lost everything, $15,000+ worth of items and memories that I'll never get back. 100% TERRIBLE. I'm warning you guys now so you don't go here. McGuirk only cares about there reputation. DO NOT TRUST MCGUIRK!!!!

Rent is due on the 1st, but I can't move my stuff out until Saturday the 3rd. They said sorry you have to pay the whole months $70 rent. Can't pay for 2 days? Partial? Answer was no. Guess McGuirk needs the money worse than me. Never rent a space from them again or do any business with anyone associated with McGuirk again.Thanks!

Had a gap in my lease where I needed to store some items for a week. A friend recommended this company to me, and I’m so glad they did! Wonderful experience from start to finish, and I knew my items were secure. If I need to store items again, I will definitely reuse McGuirk
