A lot quicker than Walgreens in town

I had a very frustrating experience, I was prescribed a medication that needed a prior authorization I have a primary insurance and a secondary. Of course I realize they had to bill my primary insurance first which it was denied through them. My secondary insurance approved the prior authorization. I spent a week and a half of back and fourth phone calls between my doctor the pharmacy and my secondary insurance. The final straw was when my secondary insurance had said the pharmacy was processing it wrong and they would be happy to walk them through the correct way to process it. I tell the pharmacy this and she tells me she’s going to try to override it through their third party billing because she hates talking to that insurance company… so go figure I get a call a couple hours later and their third party billing will not override it and they still can’t process it, not even sure if the technician talked to my insurance company to process it the right way since she stated she hates talking to them. After that I got off the phone called my doctor and sent my prescription with the prior authorization approval over to a different pharmacy, that pharmacy was able to fill my prescription that day even with billing my primary insurance first as well, after it got denied they immediately fixed it and it was billed correctly through my secondary and I picked up that day so not sure why Meijer couldn’t get it figured out . Needless to say I transferred completely over to the new pharmacy. Curtis from Meijer pharmacy was, however very helpful.

Hope you have an hour to spare because thats how long it's gonna take you to get your meds waiting in line. Literally getting monoxide poisoning from sitting behind a truck.

I needed to pick up my prescriptions for my sick kid and got to the pharmacy at 750pm. I even left work early to make it in time and they were already closed. I think this is bull because some people work for a living and can't get there any earlier. When you are to be open until a certain time stay open until that time because it may be the difference between be able to sleep at night or being up all night for the 3rd night in a row

I get one of my scripts here every month because its way too expensive everywhere else. They are very friendly. Have a drive thru and its very convenient.

They make it so hard to process manufacturer coupons. They wouldn't call the manufacturer pharmacy help line until I walked up to the counter with them on the phone. John was extremely rude and inconsiderate.

Everytime I call I get put on hold forever someone finally answers the phone sits off to hook so I can hear everything they are talking about then after a few minutes someone hangs up the phone.
