Been a loyal customer for years. Finally decided to go in to upgrade my phone only to find out they don't offer any sort of discount or upgrade deals for customers. Not very good business.

We have had metro for 10+ years, yesterday we purchased a new phone on our existing plan. We got a text after paying saying our bill for going up $18.00. I inquired about this right away and was told by both employees that this was a “new” thing Metro was doing in making it mandatory to purchase insurance on our phone and not in their control as well as charging a now mandatory $5.00 convenience fee and I would have to wait 24hrs to correct it. That did not sit well with me so I called another Metro store and then corporate and was informed that these charges were NOT mandatory. Basically they get commission on these EXTRA charges and the associates at the Mt. pleasant MI store were dealing in shady and unethical practices to line their own pockets and when asked they outright lied to my face and even laughed as I left the store. After finding out this information I did go back to the store to confront the store manager and he did do his best to make the situation right by refunding me some of my expenses and removing the insurance charge, but I wish he and Reenu would had just done the right thing in the first place. He informed me also that Reenu has a history of doing this to customers so please if you do choose this store be on your A game and keep a look out for unnecessary charges.

Went in to buy a new phone .... there was someone ahead of us so I'm like no big deal I'll wait .....after 10min of being in the store and the guy didn't greet us didn't say I'll be with you in one moment NOTHING customer service was poor I won't be back and will spend my money else where I already have two phones I needed another for work purposes but I' might as well go to AT&T
