While the stylist was nice. The results were not what was asked for- a big difference. Our total was over 200 and there was dye on face, ears and neck. The color was not the color anticipated. (Not even close) I wasn’t going to do a review but at the cost of the visit and the results I feel it’s needed. A small discount was given for the error (still $200+ I did tip as we were there for 4 hours and told to comeback and fix the issue) but having to make a second trip just didn’t justify the results. In the end, it will work but only because there wasn’t another option at that point. Again, stylist was nice, but the payment did not match the results.
Edit to add- we have used Vivids before and have never experienced issues like we are now. Skin is stained blue after every shower. Entire face has a blue-ish tint.
Went to Sally’s for suggestions and the worker was polite and shocked. She’d never seen anything like this. I had to buy $30 more in product to try to get this issue fixed.
At this point I’m livid and feel like a fool. I do have pictures but did not want to post as they could identify us. I do not recommend vivids here and I would ask the product the use. Worst hair experience we’ve encountered.
I do recommend checking with Sally’s, and getting their input on things. I wish I would have caught any of their names today.

It’s a week in and she’s still is struggling with tinted skin. Trying a second suggestion from Sally’s.

Mallory was amazing!! Very helpful, friendly, and professional!! She gave me a great cut, and really knew her way around naturally curly hair. I can’t wait to visit again for another cut soon! Beautiful salon, very clean and classy. Lovely boutique inside the salon too, such a vibe.

Ashlyand did my brows and all I can say is wow! They look so good. She is very talented. I was worried cause I had never done microblading before but she was so calm and professional. She's definitely my brow girl now!

I booked with Salon Blu for
my wedding this weekend, and I have nothing but good things to say. My hair and makeup stuck all day and looked AMAZING! I've never felt more beautiful, and every one of my bridesmaids (there were 14 of them) also looked stunning.

This place was really cute, seemed clean, and everyone was really nice! I appreciate that they got me in for a last minute appointment that was kind of an impromptu decision while on vacation. The only reason I left only 4 stars is I feel my results left something to be desired / just simply weren’t what I asked for. (See inspo vs results pics attached). I had shown my stylist (who was super sweet by the way!) these as inspo pictures and asked for a caramel balayage. We specifically discussed I wanted a lot of contrast, more on the blonde side of Carmel, nothing too subtle, and I wanted to really notice that I got something done. This is my first balayage experience, I’m not sure if I needed to ask for something differently in addition to showing the pictures to get my desired result. Overall I feel the highlights I got are still kind of cute but just are not what I was excited about getting. Unfortunately, with this being done while I was on vacation I didn’t really have a chance to go back and ask anything could be changed. Loved the salon but next time might make sure we spent more time looking at the inspo and discussing what specifically I liked about it.

The owner continuously ignored me when I reached out due to a very expensive service not done well. I messaged her serval times on different platforms, and called the store. She still has never gotten back to me.

Absolute disaster my girlfriend was horrified after her visit in there after they finished her eyebrows trying to play it off that it was okay. Her eyebrows were way darker than she expected and the staff trying to claim that it was okay was an extra thorn in the side. She does not get her hair and eyebrows done very often so when she does she deserves to have a pleasurable experience and this was the exact opposite of that. Now we have a family trip to Florida that she has to experience the whole time with very disappointing eyebrows.

Stylist: Saila was my stylist .I had a cut and color. I ask her if I could put my glasses on . She said yes put put them on it won't hurt them .I'll wpie them off. Needless to say my glasses are ruined. After she wiped them off she had nothing to say. No apologies. My hair looks bad I have bald spots in the back. So the trip to get scalped and ruin my glasses was very expensive. My time I have to grow out my hair it's going to take a long time. I don't understand why you would not take care of your new customers I would have been a good one. Very Disappointed Robin Oliver

I came in to see Harmony, she was very nice and so was the shop but my nails were chipped and smudged the same day. she also didn’t take her time with them and make them look good. I believe she had potential but was in a hurry.

They were awesome, my kid gave herself her own haircut...needless to say it needed fixed badly. Kourtney did a great job and will definitely be returning. They were able to get us in relatively quick and priced great. Couldn't be more happy with what she did! Also, I have been recommending this place to anyone who asks.
