Terrible customer experience from the minute you walk in the door, pushy sales people. Get all of our groceries, go to self check out because there's a crazy long line at normal checkout, and still more pushy sales people trying to sell us a credit card. Then we finally brush her off and pay for our stuff, and we get a full cart inspection at the door on the way out. Terrible customer experience all around. Just let me come in, do my shopping and leave.

Every Sam's club I have ever been to is well stocked with anything you would ever need, accompanied by a pleasant staff. That is not the case for this location. The shelves are sparsely stocked and the lines to check out in the single open register are often 10 people long. I recently turned 21 and due to the COVID-19 outbreak in Michigan I am unable to acquire a new ID. A family member of mine enjoys some of the alcohol only available as Sam's and now that I am able to buy it for them I often do as a gift. If you are unaware, and to the extent of my knowledge, you also do not need a Sam's club membership to by alcohol (at least that is what the Sam's club managers have told me in the past). Like many of the other items in this store the alcoholic products are seldom stocked and if you are able to acquire some the employees become extremely disgruntled and annoyed when you tell them you would like to purchase a product without a Sam's card as it requires them to push some additional buttons on the computer. Once you get the already annoyed employee to push the additional buttons they ask for my ID which I tell them is expired but only due to the pandemic and the fact that it is impossible to get a new ID at this time. Often times the manger comes over and intervenes. Most of the time the manger also becomes upset and then decides whether or not to allow me to complete this perfectly legitimate purchase. Often times they become annoyed but understand. Recently a male manger has been handling these situations and he has been far more rude than most, disputing that I can't buy anything in the store without a Sam's card and won't allow me to compete my purchase. Overall, this is the worst Sams club I have ever been to with the least accommodating staff. If you need to go shopping for anything in Mt. Pleasant don't go to Sam's, they probably won't even have what you want stocked.

05/11/2020 Observation: Unfortunately, this location does not require or enforce it's customers to wear face masks. Not safe for public.

Love this store. Wish it were bigger though. Also wish they could refuse entry to those not wearing masks during these times.

Went today needed some grocery items was expecting a madhouse of people going crazy. Instead people were so nice there were tons of staff all super helpful and I didn’t see a single worker without a smile on their face. The store was well stocked it was very neat and clean. They had great little hand washing station all over the building. Cleaning wipes to wipe down carts. Thank you for a well ran store. You all made what could have been a stressful trip with kids stress free and I had zero issues getting the things we needed.

I was there recently with my sister in law, who is handicapped and has trouble walking. We were almost done when an employee approached and asked if we needed help finding anything. My SIL did need help, and Phil found the item on his tablet and offered to go get it. He was back in a flash with the item and we continued shopping. When we got to the checkout, there was Phil again, and he rang up our orders. The whole time we were with him he was casually talking and joking with us. Phil was just so helpful and friendly. As I left the store I noticed my vehicle was the only one in the parking lot. I checked the store hours and realized they had closed a half hour ago. Phil never said anything, the girl at the door never said anything, there was no pressure to hurry up and leave. Not only does this Sam's have the best employees, they keep that store clean enough to eat off the floors. The merchandise is stocked perfectly, and the lighting is bright and cheerful. This has to be the best store in the chain, and my favorite place to shop in Mt Pleasant. Thank you Mt Pleasant Sam's Club, and please recognize Phil for the kind-hearted soul he is. Phil is a model employee.

Sams Club is a huge store with books, groceries, outdoor items, clothing, toy and much more. The more I type the more I remember with the selection. The place also has a little restaurant where you can get a quick bite.

I was going to buy a Fitbit and found the style, size and price I wanted went to check out and they said they didn't have any. They only had the most expensive one but both displays up and the cards to get them in plenty. Also they do not have very many light foods

So normally I love Sams. And in all honesty I still do. But I am getting increasingly frustrated with the cell department. The gentleman that helped us was extremely helpful when I came in. However, it took awhile for him to show even though the it said there was service till 7. Now I get it people need breaks. They need to eat and have lunch. But a lunch break at 6pm when off at 7? Oh well, is what it is. We purchased iPhones in May. Bogo sale (buy one get one free) with gif
