“My Doberman was displaying many signs of cancer. On top of that, his hips began giving out. I initially took him to a different local vet who I've used for years. I was not satisfied with the exam/level of care. I received a lot of "it could be this or that." I paid close to $250 and received no answers. They wanted me to take him to Lansing for a $600 plus ultrasound. I contacted Northwoods who was able to fit me in the next day. The manager, Arica is phenomenal to work with and the difference in the level of care was enormous. The newer female Dr (I can't recall her name) is amazing. She explained everything in detail and was able to diagnose what the other place wasn't by doing a more thorough exam followed by an in house ultrasound for much cheaper. I will definitely be switching all my dogs to here.”
