I have nothing positive to say about this pharmacy. They always fail, always have excuses, always have an attitude. They never answer the phone, and they change the day supply of meds constantly and then get mad at you (the patient) for correcting the quantity requested.

My partner has been using this pharmacy for over a year now, and we have encountered issues multiple times. Having to wait for meds, having to call to get them to refill or put in a prior authorization that has already been approved, questioning her as if she's suspicious in just trying to get her meds. I've heard her calmly ask questions for clarity and she's just been met with talking points instead of listening and troubleshooting. We truly feel they do not care about their customers, will not act proactively, and will not think critically and troubleshoot. They are probably understaffed and yes there are legalities around controlled substances, but not everyone who has a question is trying to scheme the system or be pill seeking. It breaks my heart that there is monthly anxiety over picking up meds because who knows what drama awaits us at pickup or in ordering the refills.

3/10/23 @ 7:15pm I stopped in Walgreen’s for my mother to pick up a item which she had a $5 off coupon. I entered my cell phone # instead of my mom’s and the cashier was Beyond Rude!! I told him let me call my mom to see which number her rewards are connected to but when I called her she just said we’ll get it at Meijers - we definitely won’t be returning to this Walgreen’s.

Shop at this store and you will understand why hundreds of Walgreens stores are closing. The service is robotic, inflexible, and unfriendly. Here's an example: They charge $14 for two 2 x 2 inch passport photos, even if you bring in your own image on a flash-drive. If you order 4 passport photos (same image), they will charge you $28, six photos, $42, and so on. If you order the same photo in a standard 4 x 6 inch format, the charge is 39 cents per photo. When I asked why they charged $7 for a 2 x 2 photo and 39 cents for a 4 x 6 photo, they said, "it is company policy." They didn't try to be accommodating or acknowledge that their passport photo policy is highway robbery. I will never shop at Walgreens again.
