Munising is so lucky to have these folks watching over us.
Erin I radio shack is always a bright spot every time i stop in and she was such a huge help to ke today.

The best small town pharmacy ever!! My medications were going to be due for refill while we were up at our cabin, about 20 minutes away from Putvin. I called beforehand to see if they would be able to fill my prescriptions if my Dr sent them over when due, and they said of course, no problem. 2 weeks later when I came to pick up, 2 out of 3 prescriptions were ready. They told me when they got the orders, the 3rd one they didn't have, so they immediately went ahead and ordered it for me from the hospital in Marquette. It was going to be ready the next day for pickup. Other big name pharmacies probably wouldn't have cared..ive had CVS brush me off before when they were out of medicine, but Putvin went above and beyond for me!! For that I am so grateful! Thank you for being so kind and going out of your way to make sure I had my medications!!

I just love small town drug stores and they are getting harder to find. This store has such a variety of things including gifts, toys and techie things.

I traveled about 5 hours to Munising, then realized I forgot my very important prescription at home. I called this pharmacy and they were extremely kind and helpful. They were able to get my prescription here in less than a day. Such friendly staff, they're literally life savers!

I had a prescription ordered right before they closed, and they offered to stay late for me to make sure I could get it that day. They were super quick, kind, and helpful, and took time to make sure I understood the medication. I had never used their pharmacy before, but I definitely would in the future! It feels great to visit a friendly local business. An infinitely better experience than Walgreens.

Was traveling to Munising from southern MI with family and realized when we reached Mackinac City I forgot my eye drops, without which I can have serious and permanent damage to my vision. I called my optho who transferred my rx to Putvin. I immediately called Putvin to make sure they had the medicine in stock. I was told they did not but could order it and have it the next day for pick up. I asked if any other local pharmacies might have it in stock in the area and was told they are the only pharmacy ‘within 100 miles’. I asked if they could call me as soon as they had it and they agreed and confirmed they have my cell phone number. They opened at 9am the day I was supposed to pick up. I hadn’t received a call by 1pm so I went into the store to ask. The person at the pharmacy counter recognized my request and hesitantly told me they are “between a rock and a hard place” because they “paid more for the medicine than your insurance will cover”. They offered to send my rx to another pharmacy who might have it. You know, the ones they told me were “100 miles” away when I called them to confirm they could get it for me. I get that businesses need to make money to survive, but there were many points in the process, over the two days, they could have called me to tell me they weren’t willing to fill my rx because it would be a financial loss to them. Given the interaction on the day I walked in and was told they wouldn’t fill my rx because it would put them ‘between a rock and a hard place’ financially, it felt fair certain they wouldn’t have called me at all to tell me anything, if I hadn’t gone in myself to ask. Very frustrating and disappointing as a potential customer who was confidently told one thing by staff and then showed utter disregard to even have the courtesy of calling me to tell me they weren’t going to follow through on their end.

Very helpful pharmacist and cashier. We needed OTC products for sciatica. The products suggested and the instructions were very helpful. Felt better quickly.

This is an amazing old school pharmacy. They sell everything and anything you could possibly need. Last summer I was traveling through town and scrambling to get my prescription filled from my doc in Cali.They where all so patient and considerate.I wish they had another location in MY town.keep up the good work. You all are making a difference
