“The service was a little slow to start, but once we got drinks and ordered our appetizer/food, everything was great. Staff apologized for our wait and the owner spoke with us a few times to apologize. The food/portions were incredible. We stopped in the store after and got dog bones, pickles and bacon and it’s all great! We’ll definitely be back!”
“For one person buying enough chicken for 8 meals at under $10 is a fantastic price! Could not wait until supper time to cook it and it smells a lot fresher than Meijer and Otto's chicken. This is my go 2 store for meats and I can't wait to try their steaks!
Also, the guy behind the meat counter was very helpful and patient answering my questions on freshness. Very clean store too!
Update: Their special this week is ten pounds of chicken quarters for $6.00 beats the price I previously bragged about. And without compromising freshness! Ground beef/pork combo is very tasty, as well as the Porterhouse! I'm on a fixed income and I have food in the freezer before getting paid for the first time, as opposed to shopping at Meijer. I don't understand why Scott's Meats Inc., doesn't have a 5 star rating overall. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Shopping during the busiest time of day would be a drag but the quality of food is superb and worth waiting for. If you're in a hurry and don't mind less than quality food...then go to Meijer and pay more. Otherwise, Scott's Meats Inc deserves five ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ across the board!”
