It's a decent place to shop... WHEN they're open. I wish they would update Google or submit it publicly somehow when they decide to just arbitrarily close when they're usually open during the posted business hours. They do that a lot on Apple avenue.

The store is great. The employees wonderful. Always helping always finding things. The matter at hand is your ice machine outside. While the rest looks great that thing would makes me not want to stop. Please fix it so someone else don't think like me.Concerned citizen.

I just wanted to Thank whomever the gentlemen was that waited on me a few days ago. I had just put my dog down and was in there with my daughter buying flowers and crosses to out on her grave. This man took it upon himself to pay for all of our stuff ❤ I cant thank him enough ❤❤❤

I stopped going here because there were carts of product everywhere. You couldn't even get to what I needed. When I went today it was much better.

Its the pits. Store is a mess nothing is put away carts full of merchandise all over the place. Only reason I stop in its close. I'll go to D.G. any day.

I'm always wondering why Dollar General has many massive carts of product everywhere. Why can't they stock after hours? This happens every time I go there, so I don't shop there as much as I used to.

Do NOT recommend this location cause of the employees. Here’s why:I been in Muskegon for now a Year.This location is the closest to where we live.Everytime we come in , the female employees are always doing the stocking and whatever they want to do,, when they have a male employee, they had afew quit (I don’t blame them) the female employees will ALWAYS overhead tell the male employees what to do and do this and do that, that’s all I hear are females voice who’s barely doing much, always the males going back and forth, back and forth, cashiering, back and forth, while the females do the easy stuff !!!!Even though this location is the worst stocked and messiest around !!!!.. How ?!?!?!?All I see is the females stocking but doing it at their own pace and always messy and barely stocked! ... mind boggling I say...Now today, December 19, 2021,,This location closed at 5pm cause of under staffing....Maybe if they had better employees, this wouldn’t happen....Might have to reThink this Manager, just saying..Do NOT recommend this location cause of the employees.

Store address 2589 east Apple Muskegon Michigan is always a mess no matter what day of the week and is not organized.. The women staff that's there is rude and lazy not helping customers and push the male staff beyond there means on everything while the women stand around and do nothing and I will not shop at this store again because of the treatment.... plandemic or not store needs to be organized and not have lazy staff

The employees here are Fantastic! So helpful and happy to be there. We were camping nearby with no water source. Every day they took our big jug to the back and filled it for us. On the hottest day, we had our dogs in the jeep so one of the girls walked me through the store so I could quickly find what I needed.

Why is this stor we so ghetto? Why are all the family dollars so ghetto. They say they close at 9 on the website and the door, but you go and they're closed at 8:50! From now on it will be Family Dollar, then they got a parking lot full of customers! Just close all these ghetto stores!

Everytime I go to this store, I immediately regret it. It's always a huge mess.. items on the floor.. bare walls & shelves.. broken/dirty items.. the staff is always very polite.. I feel as though they are very understaffed.. needs to be cleaned & organized!!
