Avis refused to return my 200.00 deposit. They said since I extended my car rental it went towards insurance. Although my receipt only shows fees added. Beware of this company.

Edited: Staff was friendly but the car I rented had tires worn past wear indicators and had a bad vibration/shaking between 40-55 mph. Cheetos and chewing gum were left in the bad seat.Avis reached out and made things right. Good for them. ??????

Left a very nice jacket in a drop off. Couldn't drive back same day, so called and called and called for two days. No answer. Reported the franchise to Avis to reconsider leaving under same ownership.Don't waste your time here unless you're looking for a low traffic weed outlet. Cheech is here every other day.

Great experience from start to finish. Reservation, pick up, and drop off were so quick and efficient. Friendly and helpful rental agents, awesome brand new car to drive, good price through Avis-Amazon Prime. Will do it again for our next road trip!

The black Yukon I rented was filthy on the inside and had a sizeable dent and white paint scratch on the outside, the location at the Muskegon County Airport is short of staff, so when I arrived about 30 minutes after my reservation time I had to wait for personnel to return for about 30 minutes to complete my paperwork. The interesting thing was a sign said they were cleaning cars?????

Worst rental experience I have ever had.1. Noone answers the phone2. Noone present at reservation desk for pick up or drop off causing wait time3. Car smelled like vinegar4. Price charged at pick up was not the same price charged at drop off. A difference of $134 for hidden fees that were not shown upfrontCar overall was great for driving, customer service is lacking.

My past experience has NOT been the greatest at all. I have been a long time customer even when I'm out of town I use Avis. Also the company I work for has a program with them as well. So Saturday I went with knowing it's going to be another horrible experience but Tabitha you totally gave amazing customer service. What businesses need to understand that this is our hard earned money and we are choosing to spend with them. So respect that and provide great service. Tabitha did just that. She was such a good start of my day and I truly appreciate that. Please have her to train others on what customer service is about!!!

This was the worse experience I've ever had with a car rental. I reserved a full-size vehicle but was initially put in a Nissan Sentra. I pointed out to the employee and she advised that a Nissan Sentra is a full-size! I went to the car and like I thought, the Nissan Sentra is nowhere near a full-size, but more like a compact (standard size at best). The interior had crumbs and trash and had not been cleaned. I went back in and advised her that the vehicle she gave me wouldn't work and I would like the size I reserved. She had a Toyota Camry that she rented me. That car was even dirtier, with pet hair all over the front passenger seat and floor, candy and other trash in the door pockets, etc. I settled because I was in a strange small town (I think this was the only location and the city AND they were connected with the Budget so I'm sure the same fleet of cars which were hardly any). The employee was solo and responsible for checking in returned vehicles, doing the paperwork for the people picking up new rentals, the telephone which was ringing off the hook, and any problems that customers were having. I could not believe that this was what the AVIS brand has been reduced to.

I'm a regular for a good reason. Tabitha is awesome. I love how the entire staff pull together so that you're very satisfied with the vehicle and the price. If you haven't been to Avis for good quality vehicles then you're missing out! Keep up the great work team...

I came in Saturday 6/24 and the lady at the counter had 16 people in line, she handled each and every person professionally. She provided great customer service even after the first 2 people in line were extremely rude. I returned this morning 6/26 and the same lady was working as well as a blonde and it was chaos. Both women showed grace and patience answering each and every question while the line was a mile long. They did not rush and every single person was accommodated one way or another. Also, I wanted to add that the cars have definitely improved.
