Comparatively to other hardware stores in the area and other HD locations in general, this one is decent. The store never seems to be that busy, which is nice, unless you need the Customer Service Desk. Whether it's an online order pickup or for a return, there is always a line and it's always backed up and slow. When you pick up an order they throw it on a cart for you and offer no help. I had a random customer in the parking lot offer to help me load my item into my car because he could see it may be difficult for me alone.

Allow me to recount my frustrating encounter.Arriving at the store with my car, I had a shopping list worth approximately $700. I approached the cashier, hoping to pay for the merchandise I wanted to take with me and return later with a truck to pick up the larger items. However, I was met with the response, "We can't hold your order because some of it is on sale." I suggested paying for the items immediately, but they still declined. This rigid policy seems unnecessary, as I was more than willing to ensure the store receives payment in advance.Continuing my shopping, I found a dishwasher displayed on the floor. Eager to make the purchase, I asked if they could retrieve it for me. To my dismay, they stated that I would have to wait 15-20 minutes for assistance. I proposed a simple solution, explaining that I only needed a few minutes to tend to something in the store and return shortly. It seemed logical to allow me to proceed, as I had already paid for the dishwasher. However, their response was that I must stay and wait, disregarding the fact that the item was fully paid for and could have easily been secured behind the desk.These customer policies, or lack thereof, left a sour taste in my mouth. As a loyal and valuable customer, I expected a more accommodating and customer-centric approach. It is disheartening when a store of Home Depot's stature fails to prioritize the needs and convenience of their clientele.I believe it is in Home Depot's best interest to review and improve these policies to enhance the overall customer experience. It is crucial to consider that efficient and flexible arrangements, particularly for large purchases, can significantly contribute to customer satisfaction and loyalty. I hope my feedback helps drive positive change and encourages Home Depot to re-evaluate its unfriendly customer policies.Despite these frustrations, I must recognize the store's wide selection of products and knowledgeable staff, which have often been instrumental in making my previous visits worthwhile. I hope that Home Depot will take this feedback constructively and work towards creating an even more customer-friendly environment in the future.

Never had an issue here. Sometimes it can be hard locating an employee, but little bit of looking and they help right away. Not like they can have a worker in every aisle. I did buy a picnic table from them, and it was missing parts and a piece was damaged. Not their fault, it was prepackaged from whoever supplies them. But they were quick to help me return in. It was their last one, but helped me looked at alternatives in-stock and also what the other nearby stores had. Always friendly people when I have to deal with them.

The staff is absolutely amazing! I’ve been in every morning this week stressed to the max about paint trying to get the right color and every person who has helped me has been so kind and genuine. Honestly makes me want to work there lol

On 7-23-22 I was in the Muskegon home depot ,had not been in the the store in a few months.Went to pick up some shopvac filters going to the front cheak out to pay I mentioned that I,.m a military member. The cashier asked --phone app, I said ok and told them my phone number. So the cashier said ,no your phone app,I said what,heres my Army id and phone number. The cashier said take out yourSMARTPHONE -- with the home depot discount app.I SAID NOT EVERYONE -carrys\or owns a smart phone.Asked to see the manager,asked her, hay can you get me my mil discount,manager said i,ll wait here while you get your phone from your car.I said HAY DUMMY---home depot now requires vetreans carry a smart phone to get a discount.She said YES,I SAID some parting comments and the manager did not give me a discount.Got phone number to corprate office, made a complaint got a $30.00 discount card,WILL USE AND NO MORE GOING TO HOME DEPOT. Vetreans LOWES offers the same discount just show your ID and your phone number 15% discount.No smart phone in your BUTT POCKET LIKE A 16 YEAR OLD KID.

i went into Home Depot today to get some cement for a stepping stone project. when I finally found what I was looking for, I was met by a condescending employee that asked if had any intention of buying anything, and asked how on earth I would carry it. He grabbed me a cart/basket & kept insisting he lift it for me. I let him do his thing & walked away with my cement. he then walked the same direction as me & joked about having to help me lift a .5lb bucket too... talk about rude & misogynistic! I was able to easily lift the 60 pound bag - however it was RIPPED from the employee dropping it into a wire cart. I know customer service is exhausting - but this was unacceptable. thankfully my project turned out amazing - and I'll continue shopping at menards instead!!!
