I didn't catch the names of the ladies who took my labs, but they were wonderful. I was able to be fit in towards the end of the day and was treated with patience and kindness. Thank you.

Good people and they know what they’re doing, but their automated appointment/customer support system is a preview of what hell must be like.

Every single time I have my blood taken I turn ghostly white and want to pass out. Today Tiffani took my blood and gave me the option to lay down which no one ever gave me that before amazing bedside manner especially with a 33-year-old man child thank you Tiffany

Easy to schedule through my phone, quick in and out. The person working was polite and also the first time I’ve had my blood drawn that I had no bruising or soreness after! Had my results the next day.

I’ve had blood work done at this location a couple of times, and both times were very quick and easy. The woman who did mine was kind and did a great job. I was even able to get in earlier than my scheduled time.

Do not under any circumstances call the quest phone number and expect assistance. Their automated phone system is designed for maximum customer agony; there is no way to speak to a live person, regardless of the situation. You will circle in hell for hours if you try to use their system to speak to someone.

Quest Diagnostics has been coming to our worksite, (Herman Miller, Spring Lake) for sometime now, by way of our wellness program, (Strive), they do a fantastic job, and I am very thankful for the clean and quality work that they provide, and who they stand for!!! Thank you very much!!!

Trigger warning: ? and Yesterday I had blood work done at Quest Diagnostic in Muskegon on Seminole road. I had the worst experience I have ever had while getting lab work done. For reference, I’ve donated a gallon of blood and have had labs done annually for the last 10 years or so. Normally for me, it’s a walk in the park. Each phlebotomist I have ever had has been able to get blood out of my tiny veins in my arm. This phlebotomist on the other hand belittled me for having a lower blood pressure and smaller viens. Mind you when I woke up yesterday I had multiple glasses of water and no caffeine. After her first attempt, where after inserting the needle she aggressively pushed it even further up my arm, probably two or three inches, she claimed she has never missed in her 30 years and phlebotomist. Again, making it my fault. Then she decided to try to find a butterfly needle, as some boxes had just been delivered. After examining a few packages and coming back- wearing the same pair of gloves and continued to touch where she previously poked me. Rubbing all around this open, bleeding, part of my arm.Next, she tightened the tourniquet around my arm, causing me to bleed where she previously poked me. She stopped, and put a gauze over it and decided we take a break for me to do a urine sample. At this point, I’m already worked up. Tears in my eyes and anxiety levels rising. I go to the bathroom, there isn’t even a bin for me to put used paper towel after washing my hands. As I sit down to take the sample, I notice that I can see through the small little cabinet drawer where I’m supposed to leave the sample. Plain as day I could see around the entire cabinet and into the next room. I couldn’t even get the privacy I needed to calm down and privately take this sample. Many times I thought about asking for my papers back and leaving the office. But I decided to stay to just get it over with.As I reentered the room we decided that I should lie on the table. So I get on the table, crying, waiting for her to reinsert the needle as she does, again aggressively shoving it further up my arm. We had to collect 6 viles, each time she switched between them, she moved the needle so much it felt as though my arm was on fire.At this point, I am sobbing while this woman is taking my labs. As we finish up, she compliments me on a handmade ring that I got from an aritist at a music festival. I slipped it off to show her the detail on the side, and she takes it from my hands and starts trying it on her fingers. I couldn’t believe my eyes and ears as she said “I hope it gets stuck”. Now I understand she was only trying to be funny, or trying to make light of our previous 15 minutes, but it was very unprofessional and hygienic, especially is the era of Covid.I will NEVER be back to this location for blood work. And I will never recommend anyone to go to Quest Diagnostic - specifically the location on Seminole road. I wouldn’t even recommend it to my worst enemy, who by the way, is this phlebotomist.

Pros: Staff is very friendly at this locationCons: nightmare trying to call and speak to someone as the phone system hierarchy is terrible and I don’t think it’s designed to get you to someone at the office. This is my experience from trying to reach them on several occasion, ended up calling their national line.
