The Salvation Army Muskegon is a wonderful organization that provides essential help to the community. It is an excellent pantry and a great place to get free bread, other items, and at times fresh produce. The staff is amazing, friendly, and dedicated, going out of their way to help. This includes support for recovering addicts, with Suboxone counseling available from people who care. The organization also helps families in need, including providing Christmas presents for children. While visits are limited to every 60 days, which can be a long time for families with young children, the assistance offered is extremely helpful for many people.

Volunteers and workers are kind and prompt, they have free bread, bagels, and often cakes or cookies of some sort for free , if in need, through out the morning, just walk in by 10:45 and get a bag, to fill. Pretty fresh. Everyday
