Update: Is it common practice to test drive a vehicle without oil??? There was no oil in our truck. You're lucky the motor didn't seize. Shane is just mad because he was caught taking advantage of us. Worst mechanic ever. Be sure to check your vehicle for anything broken that he may have zip tied back together. Shane used our vehicle to go to the Eaton County fair. We received a picture of our truck at the fair grounds at 9:30pm. Obviously we called the cops to report it stolen. The cops contacted Shane and he claimed he was test driving it. The officer told Shane that we wanted it back, but he said he was with family and wouldn't bring it back until he was done. So since our truck should have been at his shop after 6pm, we went to the fair and got our truck. since he refused to give the keys or take it back to his shop, we had no choice but to get it towed. After paying the balance and starting the truck, my husband noticed Shane's shop broke something under the hood and zip tied it instead of replacing it, the ABS and engine light were on. He also took the seat cover off the driver's seat and threw it on the passengers seat. We feel very disrespected by him and will never recommend any one to go there.

I used shanes on 3 different occasions, with each experience far worse than the last. Unfortunately I wasn't aware of that until it was too late. They changed every part except for the ones that truly needed changed. Costing me hundreds of dollars, not to mention they allow a child to work on your vehicles that you spend your hard earned money on. They do not keep you informed on your vehicle, nor do they make sure it's okay to change or do something before doing it. Completely scratched my vehicle up, tried sending my vehicle home with a flat tire on the rear side that they caused. Their solution was snapping my lugnut off to get my tire off! Twice I left there, and 35 miles later my check engine light came back on for the exact issue it was sent there to be fixed. Samantha in the office is extremely unprofessional, meanwhile this place is in serious need of some real mechanics that know what they're doing! Highly don't recommend taking your vehicles here!! If you're looking for an honest mechanic go to Ace Auto!Services: Auto engine diagnostic

First of all I came in there to have my heater core replaced which they gave me a fair price on and fixed correctly. Then I came back to have a ball joint and CV axle repaired. I obviously needed an alignment done after that work was done I am not a car guy and did not know but I assume the alignment was not done correctly because my car was still veering to the left when I was driving. I was told it was a control arm and to come back when I could afford it. I came there to get my control arm done and have an alignment. They charged me $80 for the alignment and I left and my car still was not aligned correctly and was still veering to the left as it was before I had the control arm replaced. I came back and was told that they had to do a bigger alignment where they had to do the camber and caster that to my knowledge is supposed to be done with every alignment, I have a two-wheel drive vehicle it's only the front wheels that needed to be done. So when I return to have it done the right way they decided to charge me an extra $70 because the guy who was working on my vehicle didn't fix it right. I asked them to diagnose a clunking in the back of my car I was told it was the linkages I had them fixed in my car was still clunking then I was told it was the tire rack underneath so I had it removed and it was still clunking so after paying $100 for linkages and having the tire rack removed I still have the clunking in the back of my car and paid extra to have an alignment done correctly. I will not be coming back there my car was misdiagnosed multiple times which made me spend unnecessary money and then I was charged because they didn't do the job that I paid them to do correctly.Services: Tires
