Took kitty in. Did not get good news but the facility and staff were all very kind. I was impressed that they do x-ray and blood work right on sight.

Very disappointed !!! We’ve only had two visits and the care of my pet was fine . It was the girls up front that were extremely rude especially when asking questions about billing which both visits we were over charged and in one instance charged for a service we never even wanted or were even told about . After that happened we went home to really go over the bill and discovered more things added to the bill . If using them I would be very careful with what you are billed and go over everything on your bill .

I've been coming here for years and was quoted twice, on the phone and in person, for a teeth cleaning for one of my dogs. Im 9 months pregnant, but I made the appointment, took the day off of work, made sure my dog fasted and was at the appointment on time to be told the price I was told twice was incorrect and it was now $200 more than I was told. They already had an IV in my dog before I realized I couldn't afford the change in price especially after paying $750 for the pre exam visits for two dogs. I left with my dog feeling like I was unable to provide her with the care that she needed and no effort was made to accommodate the large and multiple miscommunications. No payment plan, no discount, Just oh well, good luck, we are keeping your deposit. For the first time I am disappointed in the service I received here and worst of all my dog still needs her teeth cleaned.

They have been awesome, thru routine care we caught a potential life threatening condition, now on vet prescription food, with follow up care for our Loki.

So we adopted a Foster dog and part of the adoption was we had to go thru here to get him neutered. After driving 1 hour and 40 min at 7am we dropped him off. I asked about pick up.. was advised it would be between 3-4. My husband decided that we would head home and drive back. We first had breakfast. We started driving home, I called the vet office to let them know, and was advised by a diff person NO, he would be ready after 12. ? So, we turned around drove 40 min back, sat and waited 20 min and picked him up. They were semi friendly. Was clean, smelled clean. We go to a farm vet and all the people are very friendly so I'm just used to a diff environment.

This office is amazing. I had to bring my dog in for an emergency visit for an injury. I have a large dog who absolutely hates going to the vet, I've been to other offices where they treat him like a vicious monste, but not here. They still talk to him and pet him and work to gain his trust. The staff was so helpful, kind and caring, the veterinarian came in And gave me all the options up front. So if I couldn't afford something I knew well before. If I didn't want to do some thing he gave me that option as well. They bring you a break down of everything before they do it so it's no surprise. My dog needed x-rays and once he was done the veterinarian brought me to the back and showed me every x-ray, went into detail with pictures diagrams of anything my dog could be experiencing and did side by sides of buddy's left vs right to show me the differences. While I was talking with the him he had one of the vet techs keep an eye on my dog (who was sedated) and she was in there petting and talking to him the whole time. They are all great people ?

Sadly, we had to put down our 12 year old cat, and Anchor Bay was great. They were very kind, showed compassion, explained the process, and gave us time to mourn. Price was much cheaper than expected - This place is highly recommended for your fur babies. I am glad I chose to travel to Anchor Bay.

We had to make the decision to put our Mia girl down, she was 15 years old and lost the ability to walk. We called our vet on Tuesday and they couldn't fit her in until Friday. We called Anchor bay and they got us in the next day. We didn't know what to expect since we had never put a dog down before. We arrived and they took us into a roomWe arrived and they took us into a room. It was set up with a couch a nice rug and an ottoman. The front desk person came in and reviewed the aftercare services and took payment and took payment. Then the technician came in and explained the procedure to us and took our Mia into the next room and put in a catheter IV. They brought her back into the room and told us to take as much time as we needed to say goodbye and that they were open until 8:00 p.m. We spent about 45 minutes in the room with her Just giving her love and snuggles. They had a goodbye kisses jar which were little Hershey kisses with the saying that no dog should go to heaven without experiencing chocolate. Mia love the Hershey kiss We actually gaveMia love the Hershey kiss We actually gave her 2. When are you ever ready to say goodbye to your best friendwhen are you ever ready to say goodbye to your best friend. We decided it was time and we had to knock on the door and the technician came in and had us sit around her and explained what we could expect. It's the hardest thing I've ever had to do but anchor Bay that made it as pleasant as they could. We appreciate the compassion we were shown. Mia's passing was peaceful. Thank you

When our dog was a puppy, we took him in for a well exam. He had worms. He was treated. He still had worms and was sick. They were tape worms and getting all over. It was severe. Took him back a couple of times. The vet tech said she checked his fecal and there were no worms. One was on my arm from holding him! They treated him and he was fine. Wouldn’t advise anyone to go there.

Brought a 4-week old rescued kitten in this past Friday her first check up. She's been bloated and I wanted to ensure everything was okay.Terrible service. They were 35 minutes behind for my scheduled appointment. Desk lady couldn't put a smile on her face to save her life. Vet Tech was totally clueless. Dr. Zaffer came across as checked-out and condescending. Tried to lecture me about caring too much for my animal (save it dude).Didn't check the kitten's temperature. She had fleas, discovered later on that night by me... not by them. They didn't even check her out good enough to catch it... negligent. No additional helpful caring information or insight was provided. Total rush job! They were happy to charge me for the dewormer and antibiotic ointment. But, didn't give me any aftercare advice if something were to go wrong. My kitten is in the emergency hospital, right now, three days later.Very disappointing! Take your animal somewhere else.
