Took my cat here for a few years. Never got to talk to vet because it was drop off only. Was told for a year that my cat could be in the beginning stages of kidney failure. Switched vets and found out my cat was in stage 3 kidney failure. I would not recommend this place. It seems like they didn't do any tests covered under the wellness plan or they would have known he was in Stage 3 kidney failure.

They'll put you on hold for 30 min or more then hang up or never come back to the phone. They'll tell you they'll work on your med refill request but when you call to check status there's no record they ever received it.They'll make an appt for early drop off but when you get there you'll stand around waiting for them to grab your pet.Been patient at 2 Banfield locations at this point.. same issues at both... once the Bally's (google it) like scam contract expires (aka Optum Wellness) which you can't get out of early, without paying first) .. were done

They were very upfront even though I already knew the outcome that was going to be given. Had to make a follow up call because I wasn’t in the right headspace and there were a few things I wasn’t thinking of asking before leaving they answered my questions and gave me another suggestion to help make her comfortable I am thankful I was able to get into this office today. Thank you again for the care you gave kitty.

I took my cat in to Banfield to be seen for an emergency (abscess on his neck burst Sunday night). They got him right back to be evaluated.Because the abscess was so big and he needed fluids they advised that it would be best to take him to a veterinary hospital that could better facilitate his needs.I took him to Wilson's but couldn't afford the 2k for lodging, monitoring and meds.Sadly he passed from severe sepsis on Monday afternoon. On Tuesday a technician named Kayla that was in the back when Binx was brought in called me to check on him.I let her know he passed and she offered her condolences. That she cared enough to take the time to call and check on him is what mattered.Wilson's did not call me to check on him and they're the clinic that actually treated him.The fact that compassion and afterthought long after the animal is gone is a core value at Banfield Animal Hospital is very important. So much of Monday felt like a transaction more than about an animal in need of emergency care to save his life. The only thing that mattered to Wilson's was making sure I had the money.Personaly I think it's unethical to haggle over $200 for 45 minutes to give an animal much needed antibiotics especially when that animals life hangs in the balance.I will never go to another vet where money is priority over the animal even if that means surrendering the animal. That wasn't an option at Wilson's or I would have.Kayla restored my faith in humanity a little with her phone call and kind words Tuesday. If you think having compassion for animals matters more than money, choose Banfield Animal Hospital.I have.

Terrible customer service they are more interested in taking breaks and talking on their phones. Show up for appointment 10 minutes early and do not get checked in for 30 minutes no line when i get there and they move 3 people in front while I wait to get checked in. Find a real vet they are bad :(

Banfield chesterfield is very passionate about caring for pets. Even though they are stepped on day after by by us owners by being unreasonable and most of all just out right rude. I have never had an issue that they did not try to do their part. It is so crazy how big of a difference is with how the veterinary professionals are treated versus the human medical team. Owners have no idea how much there pets are loved. Instead the team gets to be criticized all around leaving them discouraged and is some cases suicide. I appreciate you chesterfield ladies. Dont let anyone take the joy you have for taking care of our babies.

A year ago I would have given them a 5 star review. Ignoring customers and texting on their phones is much more important these days. Long wait times to even be acknowledged and longer wait times for your pet to be seen even at a scheduled appointment. Avoid the pet plans you will be locked in and they have an auto-renewal.

If you love your pets DO NOT BRING THEM HERE! Brought my little 7lb dog in for his regular shots. They apparently poked him 3 times and said they could not draw blood because he flinched and yelped (which I could hear from the room they had me waiting in). Said I would have to come back another time so they can try again. So no one could draw blood from a scared 7lb dog? I’ve been to several vets and no one has ever had an issue drawing his blood. So you want me to make another appt and do what, poke him 3 more times and have the same outcome? They couldn’t care less about your pets or pet parents who have to take time off work to get this done. Why didn’t anyone call me in and have me hold him while he’s getting his shot? But they could hold him down for a nail trim?? Riiiight. Never again!

If you love your pet, do not take them here. My family trusted this place with our beloved dog of 13 years (mind you we've been taking our dogs here for check ups for awhile now) apparently they didn't care enough to see that he was incredibly ill. He had a tumor and his lungs were full of fluid. They sent him home saying he had a "heart murmur." We could tell he wasn't well after bringing him home. A couple hours later our poor baby had to be brought to Wilson's emergency vet (who are amazing btw) he had to be put down from his illness. If banfield would of caught this sooner we may still have our baby . Me and my family are devastated. NEVER bring your fur babies here.

So Banfield pet hospital, is nice when you get like the packages & all, BUT, EVERY SINGLE TIME I took my cat in there, there was a DIFFERENT VET, EVERY TIME. SO NOW, I'm taking my cat elsewhere, so he can get used to the same vet from now on...

Both times I have used this Banfield location, they were beyond accommodating and helpful. They deserve a good review, because in this day and age, good service is hard to come by. Thank you doctors and staff!!!
