I went to purchase a few items just now at the Menards in Chesterfield and ill never go to tow location again.
When I went to check out, I noticed a few of the items I specifically chose for the sales price, were double the price at the register. It wasnt anything big, but out of principal im wanting to make this post.
The woman checking out rang for a manager to come. After a minute or so of judt awkwardly standing i said I will walk back to get a picture of the item and the price. I made sure to get a picture of the tag and then the skews near to it. When coming back to the register, I show it to the cashier and now the manager.
It was $1.50 difference....when i asked that the manager mocks me. Instead of simply altering the price, they decided to embarrass me. Terrible experience, will never shop here again.
Stock your items correctly, dont make customers pay for mistakes of the company, and dont make strangers feel like shit.

Big box stores have it all. Including long walks for free. Lol. Menards does it as Google as all of them

My experience at Menards tonight was by far the worst customer service I've ever had . The associates, Rob and Stephen wasted an hour and half of our time tonight, When we ask Rob about an item, he first says it's available then when we ask to purchase, it's suddenly not available so we ended up buying anotheritem at twice the cost. We then asked Rob where we could find dogear fencing. His reply was "outside," and we went out and nothing but shingles, we came back in and asked again where can we find dogear fencing wood he then pointed to another door and said, "out the door to the right", followed what he said and yet again item was not found. We finally found a gentleman sweeping outside and asked him where these pieces of wood were, and he actually walked us outside and showed us where they were. Finally checked out and paid, drove around to the pick area to get the item from the yard and lady at the gate said to wait by the orange awning area and someone would come to us, 18 mins later... no one came. Drove back to the gate and told the lady that no one came. She apologized and said I'll radio them again. After a few minutes at the orange awning, Rob comes out and says, "What do you need?" I said to pick up the items I paid for, his reply, " they are inside on your left." Mind you, I don't work at Menards, and they are closed at this point, and he's directing me into a big warehouse to find some composite boards. I asked for his name and to see the store manager. At first, Rob insisted on knowing why I wanted to speak to the manager, I said I just want to speak to him please. Stephen comes out, and I explained the entire scenario up to this point and how Rob did not provide good direction or service, Stephen's only response was, " I'm sorry." So I asked Stephen where do I get my items in this big lumber yard, his response "drive into this building and someone is waiting for you on the left side to get your items". Guess what, I drove in, and not a single person was there. Again, I don't know where these boards are, so I drove back out, gave him my receipt, and asked for a refund. Again, a waste of my time and my sons time for items for a project he was excited to work on, thanks Menards!

No service .it would have been easier and faster to go to lowes or home depot to get a sheet of dry wall .2 guys at the lumber desk, but only one working and never saw anyone in the shed to get the drywall.

We went looking for a light fixture. They have a larger selection than the other big box stores. We found one that we liked, and an associate helped us find the correct bulb for it.

Extremely disappointed with the customer service and lack of updates on my ordered items… I will never be purchasing from this Menards again due to the issues. I was given estimated dates several times and the last eta I received was the 8th, which was 2 days ago… I was given that info today, the 10th… it is now over a week past the original expected date of the second. Absolutely zero help actually provided other than, “it’s not our fault.” And “there’s nothing we can do.” Extremely disappointed as we were purchasing several thousand dollars worth of appliances.

Usually, my go-to for quick parts, but the lumber yard and electric wire department has horrible service . Very unorganized and time consuming

Miserable experience getting lumber. Not accurate counts in stalls. Burned 3 hours of my time. The boards with low count had a majority of the remaining stock unusable due to warping. The employees, Carl and Douglas, were a great help in finding pallets of lumber in the correct size. The manager Kevin of the area where you purchase the lumber from has horrid customer service. He needs customer interface training; I hope treats his employees better than his customers.
