I have been using hometown pharmacy for a year or so now and my prescriptions are never ready. The doctors I tend to go to are over 30 minutes away which doesn’t include the doctor visit and drive back. I have had a few instances that I just let slide, but this one I cannot. Had a hospital visit the day before thanksgiving I understand being closed for the holiday, but 12 pm the next day and still nothing. Being told it will not be ready until later today or maybe even tomorrow. I need this medication and it isn’t mind altering or high inducing etc. I call and I don’t know the name of the worker but just terrible costumer service just lots of ya ya ya it won’t be ready ok thaaaank you. So rude. Some of us are in terrible pain to be so rude and callous. I am not one to usually leave nasty comments or bad reviews but I just could not after the way I was treated. On top of that I am a local which is the saddest thing of all because I don’t have much of a choice unless I drive 20 plus minutes or so.

the only people who go here are people who physically have no way/can’t go anywhere else. How many times can you mess up running insurance, rerunning when we pick it up, and go “oh, I guess you do.” The answer is regularly, apparently.Edit: calls us "you're pills we lost will be ready on Monday!" We drive up there. "We don't have anything for you." "You called me." "Well, *I* didn't call you." No meds, have to wait for when they have someone available. Small towns, everyone.Part 2! Yesterday"*scoffs* it will be an hour and a half, that's why you wait for the call. Next day, different woman "it's still in process, we'll call you" CMON ?

I give it 5 but it is creepy Google pursues me to rate everything they follow me doing. I wish they would quit overcompensating for never having been able to develop a social media app. Yikes.

If I could give zero stars I would have. Third time we have attempted to get a refill by phone and they claimed they never received it. It was phoned it in the day before. The entire pharmacy is a BIG JOKE! Employees are snippety as well as clueless. Come on CVS, Walgreens or Rite-Aid. New Buffalo definitely needs you!!!

Friendly and helpful staff. I wish the store itself were bigger and had more products, but it's pretty much just a pharmacy. As a pharmacy, it's great.

The customer service is great. Staff is kind and helpful. They do what they can to make sure you get what u need. Very helpful when you have questions about over the counter medicine.

Horrible. If you want your meds don’t use them. Especially physiatrist meds. Everyone on them knows you can’t go cold turkey. Every month getting my scripts is a fight because they lose my insurance, don’t have my script even tho the dr called it in. They’ll say they don’t have it when they do because the drs will verify to me that they talked to them and then the techs still lie right to my face. Go to cvs on karwick road it’s only a 20 minute drive and I’ve never had a problem there. The staff is all extremely slow and rude also so be ready to wait for 30+ minutes and also to be ignored completely

By far the most worthless pharmacy I've ever used. It's not the pharmacist so much as it is the people at the counter and drive thru. Every time I blink they are showing that they don't even know how their computer system works. #Tiredofbeingletdown

Perfect name for this friendly spot. Small pharmacy but managed to have all the exact things I was looking for on a recent trip to New Buffalo.

You won’t find the inventory in the store that the big chain pharmacies have, but otherwise this is a great place to shop. The staff really makes it. They’re helpful, and always try to go the extra mile for you. Highly recommended.
