I went to Napa to purchase antifreeze for a Gator that wasn't working correctly. I was told to wait, even though I was the only customer, so he could finish up which I did patiently. Finally when I was able to tell the NAPA employee what I needed and asked for his advice in the matter, he was short tempered, barking and acted like he could care less. When he pointed out where the product was from his stool, not getting up to show me, he continued to get more enraged and louder about me not understanding the correct antifreeze I was grabbing and fuming that he had to explain it to me. I finally asked him why he was shouting at me....he mumbled an incoherent reply so I just quickly made my purchase and left. In these Covid times, customer service is key. People do not need to be treated like this and sadly in my opinion because I was a woman and this wasn't my area of expertise he had no tolerance for me. Oddly, my partner... who is a woman... owns the largest landscaping company in Chicago and spends thousands of dollars with Napa. Customer service is the key to the success of her business in Chicago. Very sad Napa...could not say the same for your company and how I was treated today. It would of been easier and less hassle to just get it from the nice people at the local hardware store around the corner from NAPA which we frequent often because of how helpful and friendly they are.
