Can’t stand coming here. Employees here just do what they want. There can be an employee by the register, but they may not help you, when you ask for help, they will look right in your face and say that somebody will be up there at the register when they are 5 feet away from it. But the employee who is right there saying that will not help you. Then, when you speak up about it, they just laugh in your face, it’s like everybody here does not need to do their job that they were employed to do. Laziest set of employees I’ve ever seen in my life here.

I was at dollar general in New Haven and on the app some items that I was purchasing items that were supposed to be $0.01 and got charged $1.00 and the manager in the store at this location would not adjust my receipt and proceeded to tell me that nothing is free and he wasn’t going to refund the difference I bought the wizard beads scented watermelon 10 of those and extra laundry detergent 20 oz bag 11 of those and was charged $1.00 so the penny was not honored at this location as most people get so how can I get a refund or compensation for this item and the manager shouldn’t have talked to me like I was trying to get free items he even told me that the items were a penny when he got them down off the top shelf so why did he charge me a dollar for penny items I have added a screenshot of what the app says and pictures of my receipt as you can see I purchased other items as well

This location was nice until they fired the manager. How it's awful. Store is always closed, employees on their phones constantly, freezer section is never stocked. Sad.

Black girls has the biggest attitude! Store closed at 330 because a truck came. No milk. No eggs. Stuff everywhere

After walking around in the messy cluttered store went to a checkout, no one can be found, when I did find someone, during the checkout she kept talking I answered, then realized she was on her blue tooth talking to someone, during the entire check out she had a full conversation on her phone. I WILL NEVER return to this store, Dollar General, please close your stores and save yourself the embarrassment.

This location has gone down the drain. Since they terminated Jen. When Jen was the manager. The store was well kept, stocked, the staff were friendly, doors were open on time from the time they were to open to the time they were to close.
Since they let her go the store is never open, it’s not clean, nor is it stocked, employees go without breaks, employees are left alone. I’ve called corporate because this is unacceptable.
The district manager screwed up big time. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

Says open until 10. I've been there on 3 different occasions and they have the doors locked. No notes on door. No answer when you call.

This location has the laziest employees I have ever come across. They’re often out of stock on essential items like milk. They refuse to open the register to check out customers, only leaving self checkout (I do not work for dollar general.) They get rude when they have to actually help a customer instead they choose to start an argument with the potential customer. Dollar General corporate needs do better and hire a better staff.
