December 18th 2024. I was visiting the area from Iowa. And my battery would no longer start my car. My husband ordered the battery. New wiper blades and washer fluid online from Iowa. I got a jump, went into the store and told them why I was there. It was very quick, very easy. And the most important part is the wonderful staff that helped me Install the battery and the wiper blades and the washer fluid. And they never lost patience with me despite the fact that I could not find the hood release. It's good to know that There is still good customer service in the auto industry. Thanks to the staff that was so helpful.

Amazing experience with Advance Auto Parts. I had three separate issues occur with my car. John (the manager) went above and beyond to help me find the correct parts at an affordable price. I could not recommend Advance Auto Parts enough!

I understand the sales person should lead with the best priced item, but how about presenting the customer with the least priced item also,a 35% mark-up is a little stiff,this store actually earn a star for being open and night

Generally, I always go to AutoZone for my car parts. I always have. However, I saw that AAP was having a Labor Day sale on brake pads and rotors, which is exactly what I needed. The deal was 20% off 2 rotors and 2 pads and you'd get a nice free pair of mechanix gloves by using the Labor Day code, which I did. I paid, got the discount, and was excited about the gloves as I needed some new ones. This morning I went to go pick up my order, which was there, and asked about my gloves but both employees shook it off. I told them it's on their website and I qualified for the promo because I used the promo code. They literally acted like they'd never heard of anything like this. The dude literally threw a pack of rubber gloves at me and said, "here," as if this was the same as a pair of mechanix gloves. I told him the deal is for real gloves, not for rubber gloves, and the other employee told me I should just contact corporate. What a joke. I'm sure AAP Corporate didn't list this deal wanting everyone who should get a pair of gloves to contact them. I ONLY got these parts from AAP and not AutoZone because of the free gloves, which I was refused. I will never go to AAP again. AutoZone has never screwed me like this and had I know it was going to be like this I would have gone with their Labor Day sale. If I had more time I'd return the parts but sadly I don't. Lesson learned.

They got me in and out in a jiffy but I took a core battery for a deposit and they added it to my total core charge is supposed to take away that amount

My battery died at 8:pm. I was able to get a jump start and go get a battery. Not only did they offer to test my old one before I purchased a new one. But the replaced my battery for me at the store in this cold!I am forever grateful to the two employees I had the pleasure of doing business with! My only regret. I did not get their names...Thank you so much.

I drove from South Haven to Niles (an hour drive each way) because their computer said they had the part. Roger had to ask Mellisa 4 times what the part number was, he said he could not find the part. Mellisa called somebody who told her where it was at, so she told Roger where to look. He still could not find the part, i think he was just to embarrassed to ask for the 5th time what the part number was. I ended up leaving the store and driving back to South Haven without the part. If you call for a part, make sure you tell them to grab it off of the shelf before you trust them and their computer.

I had the worst service I've ever ran into. NILES MICHIGAN store. I ordered online and payed for everything. Went to pick it up for my son and the lady canceled the order, because she couldn't find it. But the other person went and found it with no problem. I think she could have used the extra work out to walk back and look for it. Any way I had to go back and get my son to pay for it.

This place is absolutely horrible I used to like going there but I went to one another city this one in Niles is horrible they left me on hold for 15 minutes kept putting me back on hold so O'Reilly's was more than happy to get me in the door and out the door and a couple minutes so I definitely recommend AutoZone or O'Reilly's over this advance Auto they are horrible I never even got a price check on an item because they had me no hold so long
