This branch is closed more than any other TCF Branch around and a lot of times when I go to the ATM it says its currently not working. So I'm forced to drive to Buchanan.

I've been with this bank since 2014. Since then, I have consistently received only excellent customer service. It doesn't matter where the tcf branch is, expect the staff to be fantastic. They always are. Recently, with the pandemic there's been a few changes we've all had to make. That's actually why I've chosen now to post a review. I was there just a few minutes ago to make a withdrawal. The place was really busy. One of the tellers went way out of her way to assist me and make sure I was taken care of even though I had forgotten about the recent covid restrictions that had been put into place. Thank you so much ma'am. And thank you to all the staff here. You rock

For the way I am feeling currently 2 stars is generous. I’ve never banked here before till I moved out of my parents house and to a big city. Before moving I had to cancel my account at the credit union I banked with since I was little. I went in here over 2 weeks ago and set up my account and was told I’d receive my debit card in the mail in a week or less. Now over 2 weeks and I’ve run out of the small amount of cash I brought with me. I’ve called the niles branch and the lady told me I had to just wait cause of the holiday. Okay no problem I understand not the banks fault. Then at the 2 week mark I still haven’t received my card so I called the actual bank and spoke with customer service and the lady was absolutely 0 help. She said for me to know the status of my card coming in the mail I had to give her the exact amount I last deposited in that account. Well that was a check and I personally don’t keep my paystubs so I told her that my check was around $80 and that I can not give her the exact amount because I do not remember as I deposited it over 2 weeks ago. The lady told me if I wanted help I had to answer that question exact so now I’m writing this with hope that someone will help a 19 year old trying to make a life on her own. I’m young I get it most people look at me as an annoying teenager but I’m a hard working teen and wish I got the help I needed. I’m not a review writer i usually let everything go and stay positive but you can’t live in this country without money. Oh and now some of my bills got declined cause I didn’t have my new card to put into my accounts. Even the smallest amount of help would be appreciated.
