I help maintain a fleet of six large delivery trucks. We needed a place to get them washed regularly and found JD's. The guy who runs the truck was has given us exceptional service at a fair price for the past few months now and we plan on continuing to be a consistent customer, washing multiple trucks a week. Five stars, highly recommended.

We have always enjoyed going to the Diner, food is always great and service excellent, including friendly and efficient. However, when enjoying a meal, you don't believe you should have to tolerate rude behavior, the manager of the truck stop exhibits rude behavior with no consideration to customers, inside the truck stop as well as in the diner. Someone needs to inform her that she is chasing customers away from this business and not drawing them in. I commend the people that have held their tongues with this person, not many could! Thank you.

The manager is rude, thinks it's okay to hassle customers. I just want to get what I need and go. She took her scanner and shined it in my eyes.I will NEVER go back here!

Well I really thought would do a better job after paying for truck wash trailer and engine for a price of a$135 one guy working he was nice but customer needs get a good job done . There’s not much difference from going in and getting out it’s very visible you guys take a look on this picturesWould not wash the truck there anymore it seems like they don’t use the proper shampoo!

I like the truck stop but the waitress at the diner kept rushing us to pay. About 5 times she asked my group if we were ready to pay within 30 minutes of us finishing our food. A bit frustrating being treated that way when we collectively spent over $100. There were plenty of other guests dining there at the time without being bothered.

First time here, I sew paid parking outside, so I ask the cashiers as long as you spend $20 in the diner/bar or in the store all together free parking. Can't brat that. The Reuben sandwich I ordered is pretty damn good

For non truckers, skip this stop and go to next exit, Brick Road. While the place looks like it has a nice diner and has a good selection of drinks and snacks, the bathrooms are pretty smelly.

First, I want to thank, Wendy, for helping my company set up a "In-House" account. Absolutely love this place. It's amazing. It's a one-stop shop for everything. Parking is amazing and plenty of room. You have road side service, mechanics on site, truck wash, scales, showers and a restaurant. They even have liquor and countless nicotine options. They have been excellent to me andy co-workers who drive regionally. It is the most common truck stop I have ever been to and the greatest thing about this place is it owned by locals and not by some some corporate store that sends your money to big cities and out of state. I really cant say enough how grateful I am for this place.Do want to touch on a few things:I seen a review saying "it was okay but would pass on to the next place." Go right ahead...have fun parking at the next stop which is Pilot in Benton Harlem. Talk about a large congested lot full of hoodlums. And if you are going the other way, have fun in South Bend where they cram the tiny little pilot that they start parking on the street. Plus, they have extremely limited snacks and food options compared to JD's. Trust when I say South Bend is not such a great city for crime. Then I seen someone say JD's used to be a good place, but lately they been having stuff get stolen and the manager was sarcastic. For one, that's just her...she means well and she was CORRECT. JD's is not responsible for babysitting your stuff. Park at your own risk. These things happen everywhere...and no JD's doesn't have thugs hanging out in the parking lot. That is absurd. It sits of a state road little ways outside any neighborhoods and is in rural Michigan. Benton Harlem (Benton Harbor for those who don't get it) is much worse and so is South Bend. You got city drug addicts floating around Benton Harlem and South Bend all night begging for gas money or looking for a quick lick to score some more dope. So please, for those of you so please go on down to the next stop. Just remember, when you get stuff stolen from your car or truck, the Manager at Pilot may not be sarcastic, but they will tell you the same thing...NOT RESPONSIBLE! Please share with us the security that patrols those lots and how do they deter career criminals.JD's is a fantastic place. Manager isn't rude, she is genuine... it's just who she is.... Honesty is her strongest asset and she works hard to make JD's operate as success as it does.Thank you, Wendy, and staff!!!

Been parking my semi here for about 5 years now and I've had numerous things stolen from me. Today I walk up to my pickup truck and my license plate and trailer hitch was stolen off of it. I've had chains and straps stolen off my truck as well. Approached the "manager" inside the store and she gets really rude and sarcastic with me saying it's not their problem but they expect you to pay to park there when there's zero security and countless homeless people always residing on the property trashing it. Used to be a great place to park but after this I guess it's time to let everyone know that JDs is NO Longer a safe area to park. I will be moving my vehicle elsewhere and not using the facilities ever again.

Literally my favorite place to stop in the area. The diner has great affordable food and the staff is always friendly. Also I have it on good authority that Anthony is the best glass seller in the area.
