Ended up at podiatrist with an infected big toe, because a nail was cut and left a hook. Antibiotics for 10 days.

I went to this place to get my feet and nails done, they told me to come back in an hour, so I went back after an hour, one of ladies gave me a mean look as if I was too early, then she tells me to come back in another hour, SMH I left and went to Niles Nails, and will never go back to Popular Nail.

Also, the price for a basic pedi on the list is $33. I was charged $46.

The site says close at 7 pm but I called at 3:31pm but the lady says they close at 5:00pm I swear these so called nail artist not about making money and I’m just visiting. Attitude was stank over the phone. So if this is how you act over the phone the customer service probably sucks too. All I wanted was a pedicure. Gerz

I usually have a ok experience here. But drove all the way over there just to get a repaint on my pedi and they were closed at 6. An hour earlier than the sign on the door and the website say. Just annoyed I drove all the way there for nothing.

I just went for a fill and color and the color doesn't even go around the entire finger nail. Also one of the nails was filed to much now making it look to small for my finger. Very disappointed in the paint job and price.

The place was clean and the women were very nice, however my experience was not so pleasant. I went in for a mani/pedi and was hoping to be able to relax and unwind. I got the top of the line package thinking I would be able to soak in the foot bath a bit before she started. Boy was I wrong. The water was only lukewarm, she had me put my feet on the top ledge so she could apply callus remover and scrub them then let me put my feet in the water to rinse. I was so upset. I was looking forward to the soak. She never did my cuticles, only filed my toenails, then was so quick with the scrub and moisturizer and used her nails on the bottom of my feet during the massage. It was anything but relaxing. Then when she painted my toenails she only did 1 coat so needless to say 4 days afterwards the tips are wearing off and the regrowth is raised up because she never removed the cuticles.
Then I went to have my fingernails done and the woman made comments that my nails were yellowing due to the sun and that it was not the glue from my previous set that was 2 months old. I asked if she would remove them and she said it wouldn’t make a difference. I asked for ombre nails and she did that but once again no cuticle removal or even push back and you can see a definite line in some of the nails. I was in and out an about an hour and that included sitting on the couch looking for my color while waiting for my turn. Never in my life have I had such a quick experience at a nail salon with both a mani/pedi. I will not be back, it was way too much money spent for the service given and the quality of work was not there. I really wanted to like this place because the other 2 in Nile’s are just horrible but I guess I will continue to go to Indiana to have my nails done.

My nails are perfect and exactly what I asked for! As long as you’re specific about what you want, you’ll get it here. There was more attention to detail than I’ve gotten in other nail experiences; the shape and paint is very neat. When I asked for a transparent natural base she knew exactly what I meant and gave me the perfect color! I’m always scared I’ll get a bad base color, but this was perfect for my skin tone. Also the price was way more reasonable than some other places.
