Playground: Simple and full of joy.Restrooms: Standard outhouses, but the township does a great job keeping them clean!Dog-friendliness: Except for the perilous journey down the stairs while your furry companion drags you to your death, it’s truly the most magical dog-friendly beach around.Picnic area: Plenty of picnic tables and various grilling spots, plus a much covered picnic area for larger gatherings.

Best place around to find Petoskey stones. Beach is all rocks, and there is a big stairs to go to the beach. Not handicapped accessible. Nice viewing area, play area for kids, picnic table, and grills are provided. Outhouse type bathroom. No food service.

An incredibly beautiful beach! There is an overlook with awe-inspiring views of Lake Michigan within feet of the parking lot, so it's easily accessible for those who may be handicapped. The rock beach is a place you could spend hours beachcombing.

Neat little stop. Not many shorelines with all rocks! If you've got the time, it's worth a trip. Be cautious. There is no cell phone coverage in this area.
