RUDE customer service . If you call the customer service they are not interested to talk or no patience to listen to the concerns. No professionalism at all. If i could give a Zero. I would have.

Shortage of cashiers due to micro managers. Cashiers dealing with rude and entitled customers.

There is hardly a cashier available & the self-checkout machine keeps suspecting customers & calls attendant to verify however systematically you’re scanning items. Quite humiliating HECK…

It's the end of September 2023 and Kroger is reporting profits--year-to-date of almost $32 Billion! That profit is not just a result of overcharging on groceries while squeezing suppliers--or increasing efficiencies, etc. No. It is also as a result of reducing their workforce. We made the terrible mistake of shopping at this particular Kroger on Saturday afternoon. There is NO customer service person there--even though it was 2:00 o'clock and there were no checkers! It wasn't midnight. It was around 2pm. Everything is self-checkout--and, if you have a question or problem, you have to corner some poor worker who is trying to stock shelves. What a lousy thing for a company to do to the only warm body in the store! We prefer live employees--but, if we have to do everything ourselves--how about a reduction in prices? Oh. That won't happen. This was so frustrating! No live person to answer questions and help with an issue we encountered. Worse, we saw a couple of elderly people struggling to do their own checkout. They know they have people over a barrel as they are dominant in the market. But, we encourage everyone to use smaller stores as much as possible. These huge companies just take and take and take and feel no need to provide employment or a nice shopping experience.Don't shop at this store--unless you want to help Kroger get to $40 billion in profit by the end of this year.

SICK AND TIERD OF SELF CHECKOUT!!! I have no problems when there are few items. But a grocery cart full of items with over $200 worth of groceries is ridiculous. Not one cashier on a Saturday!

I use the online ordering with curbside pickup and the staff running the bags are really friendly and quick to deliver them. Substitutions are usually done well, especially when picking backups, but the store does sometimes have stock issues.

Great shopping experience with plenty of local, fresh produce. The overall setup of the market is self-explanatory and everything is easy to find.If not, one of the friendly employees is right there to assist.Particularly, I cherish that it is a shopping experience for which I don't need a car (so for small purchases I can combine it with a walk).

Every time I go to this store, I have to end up visiting another because they are always out of stock. I feel like it's the movie Friday, peanut butter, no jelly, bread no butter, milk but no cereal. Its never stocked.

Kroger used to have good fried chicken. I think the Northville store stopped making their own after the pandemic and get refrigerated one from other store and sell them here. These are horrible! They have no taste (not seasoned). Whereever you souced these from, please resource it from another store! I don't really think it is fair to charge regular fresh made price with refrigerated, days old, no taste version. Also, please stock your item that is on-sale, even if it is towards the end of the sales period. You put things on sale to lure customers into the store in hope that it will generate sales from the onsale items but also from the regular price items. Customers made the trip to the store only to find out often times, onsale items are out of stock. You should strive to do better to antcipate the increased demand since you put it on sale and should expect to sell more of those items. Any other reasonings to explain they are sold out are just "excuses". Let me give you a suggestion - you can also substitute the out of stock item with something equivalent. Many ways to solve the problem and make it fair to the consumers. We did not ask you to put things on sale. You choose to do it in hope to increase your sales and profit. So does the customer that made the trip expecting to buy a certain product at a certain price point only to waste time and gas.

Honestly if I could give this place 0 stars I would. My GRANDMA has been loyal to this location even before this place became Kroger (honestly miss Hillers). She has had some serious issues with customer service. There is a woman there named GEANIE who was extremely rude and would not help her bag her groceries. She scanned her items and told my GRANDMA to bag them while GEANIE stood there and did nothing. She said she doesn’t “come around” to bag reusable bags. She wouldn’t even help the other women in front of my grandma (including women with little children). When another employee saw this interaction happen, he apologized and agreed that GEANIE wasn’t doing her job. They only had one bagger, and you’re telling your customers that you can’t help?? What kind of customer service is this?? Are you unable to help mothers and the elderly?? If you want a good experience, I highly recommend not shopping here.

Best Kroger ever. Great selection, great staff, and the meat department is always on fleek with the quality and cuts. I shop there every single day and I have never had a bad experience. Thanks to the staff for working so hard through staffing shortages. Additionally, for those who complain about short staff and out of stock items, feel free to put down your phone while driving and grab an application to work there, and stop complaining. They work so hard and do not deserve complaints.

Very disappointed in the removal of so many cashier. It really must be hard for those who are still working and those incapable of scanning or bagging their own groceries. I hate self check outs if it's more than like 5 items. We now shop at Buschs and other places solely because they still have cashiers. We don't get a discount for becoming your new employees.
