I just spent an hour and a half filling my cart with approximately $350 worth of food. At 8 o'clock, on a Saturday night, there were zero full service registers open, and only one self check out area. The lines were wrapped down the aisle, and towards the back. I looked at a lady next to me and told her there was is no way I was about to go through self check out with this many items. No one was doing anything, there was no management in sight. I went and found a manager. After about five minutes, he came out. I asked him why he couldn't jump on a register. He told me that he wasn't allowed to get on a register because of union regulations. I get that, he couldn't get on a register, but I let him know that the general public doesn't care. When no one is present, and then, when they are, they are basically useless, it's frustrating. I felt horrible, almost to the point of tears, leaving all of that food in that cart, but I had no choice. I had to be somewhere, and there was no way that self check out was going to work. As I was leaving, an older lady in a red vest, using a cane of some sort, told me that they were opening another register. Well that's all fine and good, but where was SHE for the past 45 minutes? She had a very uncaring attitude, and pretty much shrugged her shoulders. I left the cart, something I have never done in all of my 59 years, and will never shop at this establishment again.

Very rarely managers when you need one. Terrible customer service.

What a terrible experience tonight at Kroger. Abysmal staffing levels left only 5 self check lanes open; 3 traditional with no space with no space for groceries, and 2 new conveyor lanes with a finicky sensor. Only a single person was available to help clear the multiple "help is on the way" flags for each lane. The throttled throughput caused those in line to wait 20+ mins for an available lane. In no way is this review negative towards the staff who were doing their best in a terrible situation. Management needs to work through their issues and staff accordingly, this is just ridiculous. If this is the future of Kroger, I'll shop elsewhere.

Careful using curbside pickup with bottle returns. My coupons were never applied. Then my experience with customer service was ridiculous. I won’t be doing my curbside at this store anymore.

Roof leaking in checkout, fruit flies in produce and fruit that's often moldy.

08/14/23: Stopped in for convenience while in the area. Butcher and Bakery were not open at 5:30pm and 5 items I needed in the store were not available. Got what I could, went to check out- 1 cashier and self check open. I’m not self checking $200+ worth of groceries. Finally out and drove 30 minutes home and unloaded. While unpacking bags found Pillsbury can had exploded, examined can more thoroughly to find one end of can has rust and the expiration date was 7/28/23. Called the store- took 17 minutes for someone to answer, to be greeted with an “mhmmm, I’m on a register” and attitude, put on hold, for another person to answer, to sit silently and tell me I can come back in or go to any store for exchange. Not really the point- your food is expired!! And this is a huge inconvenience no matter what the resolution Did not even acknowledge the bigger issue at hand or apologize…, nothing. Hands down the worst Kroger I’ve ever shopped!

Covid messed this place up or Kroger, like so many companies, is being cheap and not hiring night staff to restock shelves overnight or during the day-Due to my schedule, early Saturday am (8-9) is my option for grocery shopping and often find them not having what I need- if I wait until my shift is done, in the evening, it’s even worse!Krogers produce, no matter which location, is lacking in freshness, quality and quantity- I have to go to Westborn market to get quality and reasonably priced produce- I never seem to be able to get Taylor Salads - They are always out of stock- yet there is always plenty of the Kroger brand and Doles, which don’t come close to Taylor brand-Can’t get Deli meat/cheese because the lady states they don’t open until 11 even though she’s standing there cutting deli meat/cheese for the refrigeration section- She’s quite abrasive - I would be happy to use the pre-cut but it’s often more or less than what I need -Either cut 1/2 pound or 1 pound packages not the random weighing…also they don’t usually cut the meats and cheese that I prefer- Again, I drive to Westborn market for these itemsI have 4 Krogers within driving distance to my house and each one lacks on one department or another-Good luck if you shop after 1 pm on any day of the week- or after a SaturdayAt this point, I’m better off shopping at Busches or Westborn market for all my shopping needs because I can no longer get everything I need at Kroger

Every time I call the pharmacy, I'm plaed on hol indefinitely and a short rambling greeting saying they are sort staffed.Kroger and other retail stores are short staffed because they refuse to pay workers a wage they can live on. "But how can Kroger compete with amazon?". DON'TPeople who shop brick and mortar do not expect retail to compete with online shopping. We expect online shopping to compete with retail stores, in service, human interaction, and convenience.Keep it up and I will buy everything from amazon....you are asking for it.

Sorry this store just doesn't cut it. Dirty, disorganized, cheesy promotions, not enough lanes open ... when is Publix going to buy them out and clean up the mess?

The worst fried chicken I ever had. They used to be good. Since Covid, the chicken becomes really bad. It was though they never seasoned it. If you have not tried plain non-seasoned chicken, here is your place.

Overall, OK Kroger. The variety of goods is greater than that of the other Kroger down the road. This Kroger I go to solely for the purpose of purchasing goods I cannot find at the Kroger closer to my house. This place, however, can get really crowded and chaotic, and it is too much for me. This is also not the cleanest Kroger either. OK Kroger, this is.

Kroger makes more Money in the South and wants to artifically increase the price of Goods in the Midwest region by about 15% so their closer in profits realitive to the South.Noticed Meijers is quite a bit cheaper on the same goods, done with Kroger
