I joined MIABC in January 2016, using a Groupon. I was so scared to do this on my own, walking into something different like this all by myself. I've had other *gym* memberships, but always end up paying and not going -- honestly, who wants to workout alone, and with no guidance? My first camp at 530 am, what was I thinking? Turned out to be the BEST DECISION of my life! The trainer was very helpful and one of her catch phrases was "It's you vs you!" Don't worry that you are

I’ve been a member over 5 1/2 years and love it ! I’m at the Scs location but been out to the Macomb one several times also. Awesome trainers with extensive knowledge and great support. You will feel welcomed starting from your first visit . The ladies at the camps are friendly and helpful . If you are looking for workouts that will kick start your mornings in a friendly atmosphere - these are the places to be.

The trainers motivate and attack problem areas. Don't be chicken though exercises can be modified, so NO EXCUSES!

The trainers, workouts and fellow boot campers are amazing at MI Adventure Boot Camp!! You never walk away thinking you didn't work too hard. I'm so happy I found them and glad to be a part of the Boot Camp family!!

I love my boot camp instructor @[100002371614897:Trainer Erica Reed]!! I have been going since January and have lost over 20 pounds. I was afraid to go at first thinking that I would be judged and wouldn't be able to do the exercises BUT Erica made be believe in myself and take my fitness to a whole new level. I love going to boot camp and it just so happens to be a huge form of stress relief. I have also met alot of great people and everyone encourages you!

I was never very athletic or fitness oriented but 7 weeks ago I decided to try miacb though a local coupon deal. Well, 2 camps later, I am truly obsessed! I've been attending the St. Clair Shores location every morning, four days a week. Getting up at 5:00am can be challenging, but the workout you get is totally worth it. The workouts are structured very well with a perfect cardio to strengthen training ratio. and no day is ever the same. Like others have mentioned, the environment is 100% supportive. Every works as a team and everyone is able to go at their own pace. I've dropped inches and have gained tons of strength (I can do 20 real pushups, before I couldn't do any). If you're looking for a fun, good, and effective workout then this is the right fit for you! I cannot recommend this camp enough, even at any fittness level.

This seemed like a great idea. I bought a Groupon for this camp to try it out. I attended the camp all five days in Royal Oak. While the theory is good, it is incredibly expensive for the type of work out you are getting. The classes run about $15 per hour and there is absolutely NO overhead for the company, and the classes are packed, roughly 20-30 people per day. With so many students, it is nearly impossible to get any individual help. I found very little support from the trainers in making sure my form was correct or that I was even doing what I was supposed to be, a sure fire way to get hurt. David is a huge douchebag. He is the stereotypical gym douche with his techno music and douche mobile. Both he and the other trainer almost never started on time. We would be walking around the parking lot for fifteen minutes to "warm up" before we even started stretching. Keep in mind you are paying nearly $15 an hour, so fifteen minutes out of training time is rather annoying. I can walk around in circles on my own time. ****One picky sidenote - David also sends out daily emails during camp that are downright embarrassing. How someone can call themselves a professional with the rambling and horribly poorly written emails he signed his name to is beyond me. They are riddled with grammatical errors that would make my six year old blush, and I am supposed to take that seriously? Katie, on the other hand, was AWESOME, and I might have been more enthused had she been the trainer everyday. Finally, and most importantly, all of the training was done on concrete, which turned out to be horrible for my body. As a runner and one who works out regularly without injury, I was fairly in shape before the camp. I left camp with pains in my hips that led to full on hip bursitis and now have to undergo 6-8 weeks of physical therapy. No more running for me for a while! NOT GOOD. I am pretty sure my injuries are tied to all of the high impact exercises, the jump squats, the burpees, that were done on the hard concrete. Unfortunately, I did not listen to the review by the woman who injured her knees for the same reason. I wish I had.

At first I was excited but also a little intimidated then I felt very comfortable once the camp began. The training was intense but very controlled. I was in a medium sized group and I still felt like we got plenty of individual attention to make sure we were using good form. Overall excellent company and I was impressed with the owner and staff.

I'm a stay at home mom and lead an extremely busy life so I have to make time in my day to workout. I did some research and came across the Adventure Bootcamps. I didn't think I could commit to something like this but because they have such early morning hours I was able to fit it into my day. I love how energetic I feel after those morning workouts. I've only done one of their boot camps so far and I'll plan on going back in a few months.

I used to play tennis for my college team and it has been years and I still play often but I wanted to ad something something extra to keep me in shape. I had a few of my friends mention the Adventure boot camps and they convinced me to sign up for one of their one month camps. When I was younger I could stay in shape by just playing tennis and now I feel like I need to do something extra to keep playing. This boot camp is just what I needed right now. The workouts are very intense and the special attention we get in our group was perfect. I also wanted to mention that David Krainiak is great, he really knows his stuff and he inspires confidence.

I am a huge fan of Michigan Adventure Boot Camp! I did it 3 times last summer in Rochester and I'm planning on it again this summer. Top reasons I love it: The summer ones are outside and it's beautiful that time of morning, You get daily motivational emails, The trainer is awesome and really makes you work your butt off without being too overbearing, The intensity definitely increases and by week 4 you're doing things you never knew were possible! The times are great too - believe me I am NOT an early riser but the feeling of having accomplished this before I even started my day put me in the best mood and I looked forward to the days I had bootcamp and missed it on the days I didn't. My results were good too, I didn't lose much in pounds but I lost inches, body fat, my clothes were looser, my husband was definitely noticing and I felt so healthy and strong! Also I talked to a lot of other girls in the class and they did lose pounds - so my experience was probably more my fault and my eating habits.

I've done both the Novi and Royal Oak boot camps and LOVED them. I'm 25 and a former serious athlete. The boot camps have gotten my work outs back on track and my level of fitness close to that of my 16 year old self. The environment is super supportive - not intimidating AT ALL. Katie is a great trainer and really tries to make the work outs fun. My sister, who used to HATE working out, has done the camps with me. Not only did she lose all of her pregnancy weight but she's in better shape than she ever was and actually enjoys working out now. This girl used to jog for 5 seconds before practically keeling over - now she can be seen jogging around the track and beating me at push up offs. If you need some discipline and a boost to your work out regime or you want to make some serious life changes in the fitness department, I cannot recommend Michigan Adventure Boot Camps enough.
