I’ve been going to Sheldon Nails for years. It feels like a family because they genuinely care about their customers. Clean, hardworking people and accommodating. So many times they have squeezed me in and fixed nails I’ve smudged or broken with no charge.Services: Pedicure

If you want acrylics don’t come here. My nails are bumpy and patchy, he used dirty tools on me and the place is just nasty. I would not recommend to anyone.

I had the best pedicure I’ve had in a very long time. Cindy was super attentive and gave me a wonderful foot message. So good, I fell asleep in my chair. She kept turning on my massager after the timer would shut off. That was so kind of her! Kyle did a nice job on my mani too. I’ll be back.

I have used this nail salon since it first opened because it is in the neighborhood. However, something has changed. I recently went in for acrylic nail color change. My technician started my nails and in the middle of the service turned me over to an elderly man who had just walked who finished my nails while she serviced another patient's pedicure. I thought this turnover was rather rude. Also, my new male technician was quietly rude. Not pleasant and rushed my time under the light. After 2 days my polish pealed off several nails. By this time I was out of the country and therefore could not go back to Shelden Nails for a repair. When I did return and politely expressed my concern I received no explanation or apology. This service leaves me confused. What are your thoughts?Services: Manicures

My experience was a bit puzzling. Cindy was giving me a shellac color change while another customer was waiting for a pedicure. Right in the middle of my service she turned me over to an older gentleman who came in from the outside and she serviced the pedicure. He rushed me through the shellac process with shortened time under the light. He was quietly rude. After 2 days the nail color began to peel off. I could not go back for correction because by that time I was out of the country. When I did go back I voiced my concerns and received and no explanation or apology. Puzzling.

My mom and I have been going to this salon every other a week for several years. They are the best. They take such great care of us! The salon was revamped during covid and it looks great! They use sterilized tools, pedicure tub covers and keep the place clean. The owners and technicians are kind and friendly. The pedicure chairs are super comfortable. The regular pedicure comes with a hot stone massage. They have a huge selection of matching regular and shellac OPI polishes. Pricing is good for the quality of service they provide. I always leave with perfect nails!

I had shellac nail polish done here, I had 2 nails chipped & peeling by the second day. Went back to get the fixed, he filed a couple other nails and they chipped & peeled that evening. Not going back waste of money

Nails and feet are worse after having a mani/pedi here due to improper nail filing/buffing with object for acrylics on natural nails, dropping the foot pumice on the dirty floor and then sticking it in the basin my feet were in. Unsafe and non-hygienic practices which I am assuming are not in line with the SOM and LARA. Since she doesn't understand English, I'm assuming she is not licensed with @LARA or @The State of Michigan. I paid for the "premiere" and am literally paying for damaged nail beds for the last 3 weeks.
