I received wonderful help from Chanel Advisor Donna. She helped me pick out a foundation & concealer that matched my skin tone perfectly, and gave me lots of great advice. I'm not much of a makeup person beyond the basics, so her help in getting ready for my daughter's upcoming wedding was very much appreciated!

Fantastic service at the Ulta store in Northville, MI! Donnalou helped me find my perfect foundation shade (on sale!) and showed me great tips on application and other products! She made it a fun experience (with no pressure to buy) - I left feeling confident and excited to use my new makeup! I will be back!

Kristen Forbing-Wheeler just colored my hair a cooper color and fresh haircut.I found her close to 5 years ago and would follow her anywhere, she always does am amazing job and very good with my hairstyle, Love it. Thanks for making me feel beautiful again.

I don't know what's going on in the store but I came here to pick up an order and was treated so rudely by some blonde lady that works behind the counter. Then I come in today and it's like nobody works here or the store isn't even open the way they are behaving and everyone is so rude or either spaced out. It's one or the other they either ignore you and are rude or they are so spaced out they don't know where anything is or what's going on. Every time I come in I feel like I'm bothering them and they act as if I'm going to steal something when I'm here for a pickup order or asking about a product that they are supposed to have on their shelves that they don't and it's just this huge ordeal. It's a mess, the store is a complete mess. Get it together or don't work here. That's your options pretty much.
The only one that is actually helpful is the one man that works in the store his name is Kevin. But I can see by the way that he is put together from head to toe that he has it together from start to finish. Perhaps he should be managing this store and teaching everyone else how to behave and dress and wear makeup. Some of them look like they just rolled out of bed. Be presentable in a place that you sell makeup and skincare.

Maretha was my stylist and did an awesome job with my full root touch-up! She’s super knowledgeable, gentle, and kind—and made the whole experience so comfortable. My hair looks amazing, and I really appreciated her patience and attention to detail. I’ll definitely be going back to her! Highly recommend!

Kevin and Kelly are the reason I keep coming back to this location. Kevin is so knowledgeable about skincare and make up, and on top of that, he is such a kind genuine person. Kelly was also so helpful and nice She helped me find the exact hair dryer I was looking for :)

The two last times I’ve been at the Northville store I was helped by a gentleman who has dark hair and facial hair. Both times he was so patient and helpful. I wish I knew his name because I’d like to tell his manager about how awesome he is. Whoever you are, thank you for your excellent customer service!

Every time I go there the workers are so friendly and helpful. Donna Lou always knows how to help me find shade match, as well as help me find the best things for my sensitive skin! She’s so helpful and friendly! The layout of the store can sometimes be confusing, and it doesn’t carry some of my old staple products (hence not a full 5 stars), but a workers such as Donna always are ready to help me find new staple based on what I ask and my preferences!

Me and my husband went in last week so he could get color matched for foundation for a wedding he’s standing in this weekend. Kevin at the Clinique counter did his color match and did an amazing job!! My husband was very nervous but Kevin made it super comfortable for him and gave us plenty of tips on how to apply the foundation. We really appreciate how kind he was! We will definitely be back to see him!

I think this was my best experience at Ulta. I believe his name is Kevin, but he recommended a product that will cover tattoos and took the time to help me find the best shade for my skin tone. He gave me advice how to apply and expanded my understanding of setting powder. He definitely went above and beyond to help me. I appreciate you Kevin!

My daughter and I had an excellent experience at Ulta in Northville. As soon as we entered the store, the store manager approached us and asked us if we needed assistance. We shared with her that we need some foundation and she promptly called for a makeup consultant, Donna, who was AWESOME! Donna listened to our concerns about finding making that was Noncomedogenic and showed us various different brands and did a color test on my daughter’s skin. She was so kind and extremely knowledgeable about all the brands and made sure we found everything we needed.
I actually live closer to the Novi Ulta… which is a nice store… however, I have NEVER been given the level of service or attention that I received from the Northville store. I highly recommend shopping for your makeup needs at the Ulta of Northville and make sure to ask for Donna - she’s wonderful!

I wandered around trying to find a product listed as in stock and could not find it, I also couldn't find any employees to help me. When I finally found someone and asked where this product was located - I was passed around and I ended up leaving without purchasing anything. I was super disappointed because I thought I could get professional advice on certain makeup products for super sensitive skin.
